A great choice for rough-and-tumble outdoor play, Native's Throttle sunglasses offer a unique interchangeable lens system that lets you switch lenses without having to put your fingers all over the lens. These P.C.C. (Polarized Crystal Carbonate) optical-quality, impact-resistant lenses block 100 percent of harmful UV light and eliminate glare for sharp, clear vision with increased contrast and depth perception.
The self-adjusting Cushinol nosepads and ear stems create a non-slip grip that keeps sunglasses in place, and the cam-action spring hinges allow the temples to quickly lock into position. Other features include:
- Rhyno-Tuff Air Frames: A proprietary high-performance thermoplastic material that is extremely lightweight, yet durable enough to withstand high velocity collisions and temperature extremes.
- Venting system: Incorporates exhaust vents into its design framework to enhance airflow, which virtually eliminates fog and condensation. This unique design feature is the only system available that allows maximum ventilation while blocking extraneous incoming light.
- Mastoid Temple Grip: This proprietary design feature ensures the temple ends hug the mastoid bone (behind your ears), providing a secure and comfortable fit.
- Anti-Ocular Intrusion System: Designed to prevent your lenses from dangerously shooting toward your eyes in the event of a high velocity impact.

About The Throttle
If man invented the wheel, and the drawn carriage birthed the first automobile, then Native’s Throttle is your vehicle for the modern age in optical performance. Our lightweight medium-fit frame wraps temples comfortably, while bolstering vision perimeter with unmatched precision. Punch the Throttle on the mundane day-to-day in your life, and unearth what the right eyewear can do for your engine.
P.C.C. Polarized Lens
Optical-quality, impact-resistant lenses block 100 percent of the harmful UV light and eliminate glare for sharp, clear vision with increased contrast and depth perception. P.C.C. lenses provide outstanding vision and protection in any lighting condition. Polarized Reflex lenses provide superior glare reduction and enhanced styling.
Polarization: More Than Anti-Glare
Whether you're biking, fishing or road tripping to your next adventure, the sun's waves are being reflected off nearly everything. These reflections can create dangerous glare in your field of vision. Glare is reflected light that travels on a horizontal plane. Virtually any surface can be a source of glare, including water, sand, pavement, ice and snow. All of Native’s lenses are injected with a durable polarization film in between the layers of our proprietary premium lens material. This protective film acts as a glare filter, only transmitting vertical light waves. You're left with sharp, crisp, glare-free vision as well as increased contrast and depth of perception.

These glasses fit very well and are a slimmer design than a lot.. If you don't like big, bulky glasses you will LOVE THESE.. Very slim and nice look!! I love the air vents in these glasses.. When I go for my morning swim my Oakleys always fog during my drive home.. That is not the case with these glasses!! No fogging so the vents work well!.. These are very comfortable glasses that I can wear all day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Native has been rock-solid through a variety of temperatures and environments, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, paddling and the frames are just as strong as when I got them. For around $100 or less for most of their glasses, it's a steal when they last for years.
I would suggest you purchase a spare set of lenses as Native does update their frames and lenses will be hard to come by later. I look forward to another decade of owning the same frames with the only issue being replacing lenses from inevitable scratches.
I definitely don't have any complaint about how they look, very stylish and cool. The vents on the top do their job, I wore them all summer working at a camp and was sweating practically all day with them on, never fogged up once. The Silver Reflex Lenses also do their job, if you go to the Native website they are polarized with 10% VLT. No squinting, so the lenses themselves are fantastic.
The two unsatisfactory things I have about the glasses have to do with the frames and I noticed almost immediately. First, the frames are a little small, the tight fit might be a good thing since they are sport glasses, they won't fall off easily. Second your field of vision isn't completely covered. If you look up you can look out of the glasses even with them pushed all the way to your face, the frames don't extend up very much. Next, while driving I found that I had to turn my head extra far in order to check my blind spot, the side of the frames block my peripheral vision, or at least limit it. Because of these two things I am almost always aware that I am wearing them. The best glasses are the ones that you don't notice you're wearing.
Bottom Line: I would recommend these glasses to a friend, and when I need a new pair of sunglasses I will be looking to Native again.

I had to return them. They seem like good glasses but are small on the top of the glasses so they don't provide very good coverage for the top of my eyes.Published 2 months ago by Burton W. Hilton

Comfortable sunglasses. Love the brown tortoise frame color and the price. The only reason for four stars is the lens color, as the brown colored lens isn't quite right for all... Read morePublished 7 months ago by mk
