Hair loss is a complicated issue that there is still no magic pill.

Biotin pills are a great starting point and this brand in particular is high quality and great value!

A little background: I am in my late 40s with progressive hair loss symptoms. I have fine black hair and dry scalp than normal. My parents were not bald at my age so heredity is questionable, although still possible because it can skip a generation.

Biotin is like hair food. So don't starve your hair and it will be healthier.

I take them twice a day and will continue to take them forever. I beleive it is the foundation of a healthier head full of hair!

Now, if you are loosing hair, there could be multiple factors involved that simply giving it more biotin wont do the trick but it is a good starting point.

Through years of research, I have found a therapy that works for me and many of my friends. It is not easy and requires lifestyle changes. I will outline them below:

First, start with diet. Increase raw organic foods. Reduce processed foods to the minimum. I recommend juicing everyday using a high quality juicer such as this one Breville BJE510XL Juice Fountain Multi-Speed 900-Watt Juicer. Remember to juice only organic vegetables and fruits. Wash them thoroughly after you soak them in a dilution of distilled water, 3% vinegar and a spoon full of baking soda for 10 minutes minimum.

These are the 10 fruits/veggies I juice everyday: Cucumbers (un-waxed), ginger, celery, spinach, bitter melon, carrots, apple, orange, cilantro and beets....

This recipe will not only help with hair loss, it will help with cancer, arthritus, heart diseases, headaches, weight loss, diabetes, migraine, anti-aging, and everything in between.

Juice it and drink it right away within 10 minutes. Don't store or refrigerate it as it wont be potent and looses the benefits due to oxidation.

Second, exercise! Not on a treadmill in your garage but actually go out running around the park! Practicing this breathing rhythm. Inhale for 5 seconds, hold for 5 and exhale for 5. Then slow do 10,10,10 once you are good.

Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week. Minimum! No excuses.

Weight training is also good but for hair loss, I found that aerobic exercises such as running and swimming is more effective based on my research.

Third: Use an organic shampoo without SLS (sulfates), or harsh preservatives and has DHT Blocker. You can actually make your own using Dr. Bronner - Organic Castile Soap Unscented Baby-Mild, 32 fl oz liquid and adding saw palmetto, nettles extract, and essential oils to it. However, it is sticky and makes your hair tangled up so you will need to rinse it out with apple cider vinegar as a natural conditioner after.

Or you can buy an Organic Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo on Amazon such as Pura d'or Hair Loss Prevention: Premium Organic Shampoo (16 fl. oz.)

Fourth: Stop using hairsprays and avoid high heat blow dryer. Dry on cool or low setting. Best just to use a fan to dry your hair after you damp it with a towel. Save the hairsprays for special events. There are organic pastes that you can use that is less harmful than hairsprays but I wouldn't recommend them unless you have to.

Ive been using this for a month now. When I first buy this item I had just gotten my hair cut (big Chop). Just this pass Saturday my hair stylist was shocked to see that my hair was growing back already. It has gotten thicker and my nails are stronger. I only take them five days a week when Im at work along with a multivitamin. One thing I will say is that you should drink a lot of water, 8 cups a day is what I drink. it seems to work better.

I have previously ordered products from Amazon before and have never written a review on any of them, but I feel compelled to write one for this product.

Two years ago, my hair started shedding drastically to a point where my boyfriend and friends started noticing. I felt anxious and panicked because I was only 19 years of age. How could I be losing hair at this rate? I felt that if I didn't do anything about it, in the next four years I will be bald. That is how I honestly felt. So I have gone to dermatologists and they have tested my blood, nutrients, etc. to see if I was lacking in any of them, but the tests returned back normal. I seriously felt that I was going crazy because I know I was losing hair at a rapid rate, and on top of it, I felt that my dermatologists didn't take me seriously. They just brushed it off like I was being over-dramatic.

expensive coming from their office. So I started researching a lot about biotin before I decided to invest in buying one. My first choice was to go GNC, but their's was pricey as well as the pills being way too big. So I went to Amazon and found this wonderful product! I found the pills really easy to swallow, and I have been taking one everyday for the past two months. Let me tell you, everyone I know has been talking about how beautiful my hair is! I don't shed as much anymore, and it's going back to the normal rate of shedding. My hair has grown more than 4 inches in the past two months.

Another surprising thing about this product is that my eyelashes has grown longer as well!... I have seen commercials about serums and whatnot for longer lashes (and I was never interested in them), but this was one of the positive side effects that I love. On top of longer lashes, my face is cleared and my skin is glowing. I cannot rave enough about this product. I tell everyone who compliments me about it! I have relied on biotin for pretty much my entire life. Being a hairdresseer I've had every color hair in the book, have had every service done minus a perm, and back in my younger days destroyed my hair with permanent black box color the worst of the worst >.< that being said i needed a super vitamin that would give a little tlc to my hair from the inside out. the results are incredible. I had a mohawk back in december of 09, I've had trims here and there since then but for the most part i've just dedicated myself to growing a thick long mane of brunette curls and right now there at my collar bone. my hair definately grows probably slightly under an inch a month now making it necessary to have my roots done all the time (covering blonde is sooo annoying!!!!) i will probably take this for the rest of my life i love it so much. i also think it makes my skin look better. i haven't seen anything higher then 5000 mgs in our local stores so i had to upgrade to the 10000mg im so excited for these!!!
