I purchased several bottles of these on sale at CVS. I trust the Natrol name and my daughter tested her blood sugar last week and it was 320. Mine was over 200. SO we decided to go on a diet and cut out as much sugar, potatoes as possible. We're both eating better and taking the Carb Intercept as directed. She has now lost 9 pounds. I'm not showing any weight loss but I'm missing half of a double chin. Her blood sugar and mine have both fallen to under 150. I called a few CVS's and had them save the pills for me and I drove 20 miles to get 2 more bottles. We cannot take diet aids that raise BP so these were perfect. I did notice a fiber like laxative effect (hallelulah). I've been on Rx for constipation and even they didn't work. So I'll definitely buy many more bottles of these.

So my daughter would recommend these for weight loss and blood sugar control and I would recommend them as a good laxative. They're worth a try. I have 3 bottles on hand and count myself lucky to have found them on sale.

I follow a carb-cycling diet. Some days I have carbs and some I don't and I take this to help me on the days I am allowed 2 or 3 servings of carbs. I don't think this product is a license to eat whatever you want but all things in moderation, you know. I always keep a bottle on hand. Over the holidays, I was terrible and I took them everyday. For me, they do what they claim. I never gain on carb days.

"Carb Intercept" is a purified bean derivative (Phaseolus vulgaris), which contains naturally occurring inhibitors to amylase. This does not block starch absorption, it only delays it. Here is a Pubmed article demonstrating this fact in normal patients and diabetics:

This concept has already been incorporated into a drug named acarbose.

This medication does slow the rate of carbohydrate absorption, but does not block any carbs.

I receieved this item very fast. It works good, but didn't see results like i was hoping. I did lose five pounds. I'm sure it can't work miracles, but we can always dream!!!

I purchased mines at walmart. I was going through that I got to have carbs all the time phase.I read the reviews before I tried it, most people said it does not work with surgary carbs (cookies, candy, cakes ect.)however that my carb of choice, the sugary. So I decided to try it any way. When I eat surgary carbs I consume alot really, when I first begin to take it, I still gained weight (I do eat alot), but I can say I did not gain as much as I normally would by about 2 lbs water included. There has been so many times that I binged out and the next day did not gain a lb, really this has happened serval times; however I truly believe this is also to the fact I only drink water, No juice, tea, coffee only plain water.I have always only drink water but stilled gained but this has helped awhole lot I really love it. I do work out 5 or 6 times a week but I always have. I have purchased 3 bottle so far I will probably keep them around, that is how much I love them, but remember that every body break down chemicals different: sugar, fat, protein so it might not work for you but at price it worth the try

As we all know diets and fad diets come and go. The idea this product uses is not new. I am morbidly obese, so I decided to try Natrol Carb Intercept, when I saw the product on the Dr. Oz show on t.v.. Basically what happens when you eat foods high in carbohydrates, the body turns it into sugar and then stores it as fat on the body. The Natrol pills, which you take just before a high starch, high Carb meal has white kidney bean extract which blocks the production of sugar in starch laden foods. The material passes out of the body when you "poop". There is no placebo effect as far as I can tell. I haven't started exercise yet due to my weight, however one month later have lost and kept off about 6 pounds. The best part is that the price is half the cost of going to a drugstore or bodybuilder supplement store. So far so good. I will definitely order this product again and will be losing more weight when I come down to a smaller size and then I can exercise. Works as it advertises.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I tried this product in good faith for 3 weeks, hoping to lose a few pounds. Absolutely no change or effect at all.

I've been using this product for several months to help me lose weight. I take 2 caplets everytime I eat a white carb and it seems to help quite a bit. Product arrived fast and in great shape.

My wife and I recently tried Carb Intercept and it actually made both of us gain exactly 10 pounds. So we stopped after a two week supply. Everyone is different so It could work for other but it did not work for us. On to the next great product. Cheers
