Recently I injured my knee from a bad fall. Needless to say, it was taking much longer than I'd like to heal the bone bruise and for my bursa to go away. The pain was almost intolerable.

Flash forward to this product...I started taking it a few days before my second doctors visit and noticed that I no longer needed the full 800mg advil 3x a day. The advil had caused me to be more prone to bruises, so I was glad to reduce its use. Now since using this product 1 wk, I no longer use advil. (I'm sure the makers of advil/ibuprophen will be disappointed to hear that! Since I was buying the BIG bottles).

My sports specialist doctor told me this: glucosamine/chondroitin is a good supplement to help joint health in people with osteoarthritis, and that it might also help me but...it was very expensive, running at more than $20 for a 4 week supply. Also to get full benefits one would need to use it for 6 weeks. So he said to use the advil for cost efficiency.

But...if you add up all the bottles of advil, and the extra doctors visits for pain, this product is worth every penny. And it is actually a 7 week supply for a little over $20!! (so that is little less than $3/wk). This is a great product!

I hurt my knees hiking in New Zealand. My doctor recommended Natrol Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM and I have been taking it ever since. It definitely keeps the pain under control better than other products I have tried.

I paid more for this product because it was described as being in tablet form. (Many medical dictionaries describe a tablet as round and compact). In fact, it is a long, thick capsule. If you have trouble swallowing, this may not be a good product for you. It does contain the supplements listed, which have helped my old knees. Since I've been taking Glucosamine Chondroitin, I can walk further without discomfort. I recommend the supplements, but not the form.

The components are excellent but it is a very low dose. At Costco I found a higher dose for a little more money.

I started taking the pills after the dietary supplement was recommended to me by a friend who had similar problems-a growing feeling of arthritis. After taking the pills for only a few weeks all the pains I had previously experienced evaporated.

I have been using this product for six to eight months now for knee pain ... my knees still bother me once and a while but for the most part my days are pain free. My wife has been using it for pain relief from a old dislocated sholder injury and she says it has also become almost pain free, and if there is pain it is very slight in comparison to the pain prior to taking "Natrol Glucosamine Chondroitin and MSM" Tablets.

I have been taking them for joint pain, not sure if they are actually doing anything but I am trying different things at this point.

I'm sure this is a great product but for some reason, when I give it to my dog she passes a considerable amount of very fowl gas, and gets diarrhea. Stopping the product clears the gas and the diarrhea. I use it only occasionally (because of the diarrhea and gas) to try to help her with her joint problems and to supplement another product that she takes for jumping/running problems. I believe it is helpful to her (I see the difference) and I feel by giving it to her only 1-2 times a week she receives some benefits with minimized side effects.

I had surgery last year to clean up arthritis in both knees. However I still have pain and stiffness which limits what I can do. The surgeon recommended this supplement. I was hoping to give it a trial for several months, but it affected my stomach and I finally gave up on it after 6 weeks. My knees felt considerably worse while I was taking it. For me, I think knee replacements are the answer.
