I wish I was someone who could tolerate this, as I've heard good things about results using Natrol Carb Intercept. However, this gave me the worst case of gas ever. I had that gurgling, uncomfortable internal distress. My tummy felt bad. My guts were in turmoil. And thank God it was during the night--ALL NIGHT--or I wouldn't have had the nerve to step outside my door with that much gas rolling around and erupting.

I tried it again, just in case it wasn't the Natrol and was something else. Eating different foods--same result. Gasorama.

Bummer.

I manage my diabetic condition by counting carbs and medicine. I keep a good record of what I eat and how my body reacts to the amounts of carb I eat through blood tests which I do 2 hours after start of my meal. While I do not recommend that people mess with the body's natural processes on a regular basis, I have found that my blood glucose levels do not rise to any significant levels after I take a carb rich meal with this product. For me, this product allows me to satisfy my cravings without impact to my blood glucose levels.

I exercise daily, and I finished the entire bottle. I saw no change in my weight fluctuations. My bodyweight was basically reacting the same as it did before I took these. It seems the mode of action of these pills is to block a type of amylase which breaks down carbohydrates. Well, your body can produce more than one type of enzyme to break them down. Another thing to note here is the fact that all the 5 star reviews are people who have only reviewed THIS item, which makes me question either the integrity of the seller and/or the manufacturer of this product.

I like this product a lot and have just placed my 3rd order. I'm a vegetarian, so I have a tendancy to eat more carbs. I'm careful what I eat and I take Carb Intercept just before a meal. If I forget, I take it even if I started eating. I havenoticed a difference in keeping my weight where I want it and keep off those last few pounds. Depending on what I'm eating, I usually don't use 6 pills a day; that's a bit pricey. You can probably get by with only 4 of them.

The truth of the matter is, this product helped me lose 30 pounds, with no gym membership. On the other hand, it put my stomach in an uproar while it did it. The higher the fat content, the worse the stomach cramps were. I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital one night the pain was so bad. But, it showed me what not to eat anymore, and that's how I think I lost the weight. When you go through stomach pain like I did, you tend to stay away from those foods that caused the pain, with this pill, in the first place, that's how you lose the weight. But I must say, I don't think the discomfort is worth the weight loss. Yes, after it was all said and done, I had went from 195 to 165 in six months. But that's because I spent most of those months in the bathroom, lol. Of course, after I stopped taking it, because if you take it too long, it will mess up your digestive system, I slowly but surely started gaining the weight back. But for about a year or so, I looked damn good to be forty at the time. I've thought about taking it again since, but the bubble guts make me stay away.

I usually give any new supplement one bottle or one month before deciding if it will work for me. Unfortunately these particular pills did nothing for me...zip, zero, nada, nothing. At least I didn't have any negative side effects, eh? I won't be purchasing these again.

I decided to buy this product because of all the positive reviews, but I won't be taking it any longer. Each time I try to eat any carbs after taking this supplement, I spend the next several hours feeling horrifically nauseated, and no medicine nor "other methods" could make me feel any better. Even cutting down the amount of carbs eaten after the pills have been taken doesn't have an effect on the nausea. Other stomach problems followed.

I wouldn't recommend it. I have a rather tough stomach in general, but it can't handle this stuff at all.

Took it for one who month and nothing. Didn't eat fatty but not complete fat free. Did eat starches. I took it 10 minutes before every meal. Nothing.

I'm on the less carb diet but when I have a cheat day I usually gain four pounds. After taking these pills twenty min's before I ate it cut those pounds in half I now only gain two pounds when i cheat. This product has made it easy to lose weight and is really great when I get weak and want to cheat. Just make sure you wait the twenty min's I've tried taking it right before eating without waiting and it didn't work as well.

I know the too good to be true saying, but I guess I still have hope. This product has done nothing to help with weight loss. I am on my second bottle now. It was a waste of money-I won't be a fool for this one again.
