I have been taking this product not only for a general calming aid about one hour before I sleep, but on those occasions my friends ask me out for a pint and I want to avoid a hang-over (a result of poor sleeping from alcohol) I notice the side effects of a drink the night before are greatly reduced with this product.

I agree with other reviewers that you avoid the need to get up and hit the toilet from drinking a lot of chamomile, and I REALLY appreciate the L-GLUTAMINE which is a natural growth hormone supplement.

I work out often in the evening before I go to bed, I pop one of these dandies and I know I'm not only going to get a more rested sleep, but the L-GLUTAMINE will stimulate natural growth hormone, my skin looks better, I feel more spry/alert in the morning, and so on.

Modern research is showing that people over 30 need to stimulate their growth hormone center in their brain and this product can help do that.

So not only will you sleep better -- you'll wake feeling more spry.

Don't be fooled by the lady on here who claims she had a psychodelic experience from 1/2 a tablet -- if that were the case, I'd be selling then for fifty bucks each down at the clubs on Friday night.

Natrol's Sleep'n Restore 20 Tablets is a great product. Formerly called "Natrol's Sleep'n Revive" it combines Melatonin with Valarian to get you to sleep and help you remain that way for 8 to 10 hours.

Melatonin is something our bodies produce naturally, but as we age sometimes our natural production is not enough. Supplementing with Melatonin by itself is a good idea to try first, as you may not need the Valerian addition in this product, or the 3mg of Melatonin.

Try 1mg of Melatonin a half an hour before bed, and go to bed when you start to feel sleepy. You can safely increase this dose to up to 3mg, and some would argue, up to 5mg, but consult your doctor first to make sure it's safe for you, as only you and your doctor know the totality of your health conditions and medications for them. Note: I've found sublingual Melatonin tabs to be the best, as they are quickly absorbed into my system.

Sleep n' Resore is similar to Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra Tea, Tea Bags, 20-Count Boxes (Pack of 6) as far as what's in it (a mix of valarian and melatonin), but unlike with tea, you'll not be feeling the urge to get up and empty your bladder if you take this pill instead. You may also need a lot more tea for the same effect as one pill.

I have used this product for over a year now. It is a great balance of valarian (which helps you fall asleep) and melatonin (which gives you longer sleep). I have found it to be nonhabit forming and I do not feel hung over the next day. That being said I would suggest you take it early. If you take it at 11pm and want to get up at 6 you probably will be tired. I usually take mine at 8 pm, fall asleep by 9 and up ready to start my day by 6am. Good luck and sweet dreams!
