I am the caregiver for my mother with Alzheimer. I was depressed most of the time and had a hard time sleeping. My doctor put me on an anti-depressant which made me feel emotionally dead, so I went off of them. My health food store suggested these pills and I tried them. After about a week I noticed a difference. I have been on them about 3 months and notice a big improvement in my attitude and sleeping. I recommend that you give them a try!

This product is great in that it is very subtle. The night formula has the effect of making you tired so you can fall asleep without the groggy headed feeling in the morning. The daytime formula does not produce noticeable changes right away. However, I noticed a difference after taking on a regular basis that I felt more relaxed overall. I imagine that if you have serious issues this may not be the right thing for you and something on a prescription strength may be what you need. For those who are suffering from the normal extra stresses in life, it is worth a shot. I've really liked it.

This is a great product if you are suffering from regular life stress. The day formula is helpful but the nite formula really puts me out. I do believe that they work together well. Give it about a week to start seeing results.

Great Item, Both my friend and I ordered this, and we both love the nite pills. They make us tired when we can;t sleep and we are able to fall asleep better.

Put it this way, the "day" pill makes me so drowsy I want to take a nap.....the night pill does not work half as well to accomplish that same mission. 5-HTP is in the day pill, after researching this (unfortunately after I tried it) 5-HTP is tryptophan....you know, like after that Thanksgiving turkey you want to take a nap? Same stuff. Not sure what the logic is behind this and why there is not a warning on the daytime portion the same as the nighttime.

I am not saying everyone will have this reaction, but come on.....it's typrophan, it is what it does! No I did not accidently take the night pill in the morning. When I buy any health product be it medication or natural and it has a day and night version I automatically expect the day version will not include ANY adverse drowsy side effects.

Don't say you weren't warned, buy at your own risk.

I bought this to help me calm down for my nursing finals. The daytime formula works great for me. I dont get any foggy feeling, Im just tuned down. Anxiety was getting to me during clinicals, but now I can think clearer. I could be attributing this to a placebo effect, but Ill take it. My insomnia was so bad its messed up my sleeping routine. Dipenhydramine just made me groggy in the morning. Ive always had a positive reaction to Valerian, but it helps for sleeping pattern regulation and go off it a bit to break down tolerance. Alternation with Calms Forte or Sleepytime tea helps. Careful though if you are taking meds...let your Physician know to make sure you wont have reactions!
