UPDATE: Yes, it warps when it's soaked with water, but it reverts back to its original shape pretty well. I've had it in my bathroom now for over a month and it looks way better than I thought it would. It's refreshing to not have to clean the mat all the time and have dirt and hair stuck in it (EW!) I'm still keeping my four-star rating because the stitching is really uneven and in one place the lining is in danger of falling off, but otherwise this is a great mat and YES you can use it in your bathroom!
It's a pretty bamboo mat, but I've been using it in my bathroom and it's slowly warping its shape and reacting poorly to water.

I purchased this item several years ago, anyone who every saw it always ask, where did you get it, and love the look of it in my bathroom. It makes the bathroom look richer, goes great with most woods within the bathroom. When i ordered this product it was shipped fast, and arrived to my home within several days.

Attractive Bamboo Mat,

The mat is definitely more attractive at home than shown in the picture. The color is not so drab and there is a glossy sheen to the varnish akin to a polished wood floor.
The smooth bamboo slats feel good under bare feet, both softer and warmer than the tile it's on. On close inspection it doesn't seem to be cheaply made, especially given it's low price. The backing is lined with what appears to be a sturdy mold resistant fabric. While it repels surface water well, I think it will do better by a kitchen or laundry room sink than used on a bathroom floor.
