An excellent beginner's guide,

Unfortunately this book is out of print, but copies are still available so pick one up while you can. This is the best beginner's harmonica book out there. I have been playing harp for 15 years and I still look at this book once in a while. My typical recommendation to beginner's is to throw away whatever book they are using because most do more harm than good, but Gindick's book is excellent. It is fun and easy to understand. I learned to bend notes using this book, I learned to play cross-harp, I learned to sound good accompanying my friends on guitar before I really even knew what I was doing. One week with this book and my jammin' friends noticed a difference. If you want to learn to play buy this book. I don't have any of Gindick's other books, but they are probably worth checking out as well. If I ever meet Jon I will shake his hand and say Thanks!
