5.0 out of 5 stars Natural Cures is a winner! Amazon we need more stars!!!!
Yes you may be able to live to be 150 years old. Kevin Trudeau explains how animals have their lifespan doubled merely by changing from the poor foods pushed by advertisements and going into organic foods that are actually good for them. Dogs who normally live to be 13, live to be 20 or 30! Think what good eating and proper nutrition can do for we humans!!!!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Completely MISLEADING advertising!!
The infomercial on t.v. and his description of this book is a farse. NO CURES LISTED. The book tells you to go to other websites to then pay more for membership fees to learn what he won't tell you in his book. The book title should be CURES I AM NOT GOING TO TELL YOU ABOUT IN THIS BOOK!! A waste of $30. Now I have learned the hard way to read the reviews FIRST! This...

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!, July 3, 2005
By
Jessica "book reader" (Miami, FL United States) - See all my reviews
I saw Kevin's infomercial on TV and was very excited about getting the book. But since I didn't want to spend $30.00 blindly, I waited for the book to get to the library and went on the waiting list to get it. When I got the book and read it,I was glad I didn't spend a cent on it. The book is just an infomercial for a website he has, so you will spend more money. In the infomercial he says he'll tell you the cures for many diseases in the book, and when you read the book he tells you he can't tell you anything because of the FTC, so please go and subscribe to his website. That's crazy! Please don't buy this book and if you're curious about it, just go to your library and check it out.

1.0 out of 5 stars Natural Cure Ripoff, January 14, 2005
Kevin Trudeau is a scam artist. I am so disgusted with the book Natural Cures. Repetitive, redundent, riding on the coatails of others research and THEN to top it off referring the reader to his website where he wants to yank our chain for more money! He should be horsewhipped, tarred, feathered, and ran out of town. I am so mad. I have never before returned a book, but this one is going back. To have been limited in "star rating" and denied minus zero as a score was a frustration. I have a son with Autism Spectrum Disorder and additonal health issues. For several years I have utilized special diet intervention, vitamin and mineral supplements so I have done a considerable amount of reading into health issues and homopathic treatment. Trudeau takes advantage of those of us looking for alternatives to medication. He should be ashamed.

1.0 out of 5 stars ...I have a bridge to sell you..., October 3, 2007
This review is from: Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You to Know about (Hardcover)
Way too much marketing and hype with this book when there are good legitimate books by actual biologist that are very down to earth and simple to read for a proactive reader....as Cure the Incurable by Mikhail Tomak

1.0 out of 5 stars What a ripoff, January 16, 2005
How I wish I had come to this site first. I wasted $30 plus shipping on this book and as it turned out it kept telling me to go the website beause he COULDN'T tell you about it in his book. Not without making even MORE money that is. He is right. It IS all about the money. Including how much he is making on this book. And then when I tried to load the website with the login NOTHING came up.

I am SO disappointed and I hate to think of others that are not feeling well such as myself and get taken in by this book. Pay MORE money to get what I SHOULD have gotten in the first book. I don't think so.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't let the title deceive you, December 29, 2004
This is his scam to make money! All he mentions is the greedy government and drug componies are robbing us blind just for money! Hah, that is exactly what he is doing, making a truck loads of money to make us buy an expensive book with no useful information what so ever. All it does is to refer you to his web-site to milk you more by joining and paying fees! If anything, buying this book make you unhealthy by all negative views of everything and everybody. I hope the FDA goes after him with his scam.

1.0 out of 5 stars There is not one cure in this book., January 14, 2005
This book is full of Kevin Trudeau's complaints about the FDA, USDA, FTC, The AMA, The Pharmaceutical Industry, and numerous Government Agency's. It does not contain ONE cure. It is 273 pages of accusations and his personal innuendo's. What it really is, is 273 pages on directing you to his web-site, which you have to pay to join, and continue paying monthly, or pay a one time lifetime fee.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Misleading Title, January 12, 2005
I also was disappointed in Mr. Trudeau's book. It seemed almost every page made reference to going to his website and joining as a "private member". While I agreed with many of the insights he DID share concerning big medicine and the FDA, he gave very little useful information in the book itself. Disappointing to say the least.

The capper was his chapter entitled "A True FDA Horror Story" where he recounts the harrassment that befell a small businessman who'd come up with some kind of cure for some disease. In the story, Mr. Trudeau claims he can't tell you what the disease was, nor what the product was, but he can on his website.

If any of this garbage about not being able to write about this stuff for fear of prosecution and/or harrassment by the FDA were true, writing about it on his website would simply lead to the same eventual outcome. While I believe he probably does offer more info on the website, I believe his real motivation for not putting this info in the book is to make more money from the website.

Another interesing but disturbing revelation is the inexcusable lack of research done by Mr. Trudeau. For example, when writing about Aspartame, he writes that it was originally created by the "Surrell Corporation" which was then acquired by Monsanto. While it's true that Monsanto did buy the company, it was the SEARLE Corporation (then headed by none other than Mr. Donald Rumsfeld...yes, THAT Donald Rumsfeld). Did someone simply tell him this story and he wrote the name phonetically??? Maybe not that big a deal, but definitely didn't help his credibility.

In conclusion, based on the information he DOES offer, it seems Mr. Trudeau does know about the subject matter on which he writes, but it may make more sense to check out his website for $10 rather than spend the $30 for his book (or rather, 273 pg. website ad).

1.0 out of 5 stars TOTALLY MISLEADING!!!, January 10, 2005
By
I purchased this book, like everyone else, expecting to read the "Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About." Unfortunately all I read was about how everything we eat is poisoning us, and if I want to know how to fix it buy a subscription to his website. So I did, however when I got on the "private member's only page" there was NO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER. It just says that the website is still in the launching stages, and there will be more information "soon." So I tried to cancel my "subscription" but nobody has contacted me, although the automated email back to me says that someone will contact me "in a few days." Over a week later nobody has contacted me. Absolutly misleading, and disappointing. DO NOT PURCHASE!! I would rate zero stars if it was an option.
