This review is from: New Natural Death Handbook (Paperback)
I bought this book at the relatively high price commanded because so few copies were available, and was disappointed to find it has nothing about what can be done in America. As a guide to "all the woodland burial grounds and mail-order cardboard coffins" and "best funeral directors" etc. it's geared definitely to England, and is of limited use to most U.S. readers, although it's interesting to read just to get a sense of what the natural death movement is about. This isn't going to be a handy guide to a natural burial in the States, so I won't recommend it on the website I have created around DYING: A BOOK OF COMFORT (comfortdying.com). -- Pat McNees
