More About the Author

Above: Geoff was keynote speaker at the recent London Antiageing Conference

Geoff got a proper degree in applied science from London University in 1964 and completed post-graduate professional qualifications in 1968.

He spent his early career living and working in remote African villages where he widened his earlier studies in anthropology, biochemistry, and evolutionary human development.

At the cutting edge of this new science of nutritional anthropology, and bringing intellectual rigor to the latest findings, Geoff developed the complete process for living in harmony with our naturally adapted lifestyle.

From his research on human origins and our ancient nutritional heritage, Geoff has become a recognized authority on what it means to be human in lifestyle terms.

Geoff's latest book, Deadly Harvest: The Intimate Relationship Between Our Health and Our Food is designed to be a work that doctors can trust, and is heavily credentialed with 35 pages of peer-reviewed references.

Geoff trained as a speaker with the Los Angeles chapter of the National Association of Speakers. He speaks to corporations, hospitals, clinics, business groups, schools, companies, charities etc. both in America and in Europe. With his controversial yet life-enhancing message, Geoff is a popular TV and radio talk show personality.

As a lifestyle anthropologist, Geoff believes in living in places which have sunshine and palm trees: he currently lives with his wife, Nicole, in the Mediterranean island of Cyprus.

Geoff is a trained and regular speaker to physicians and the general public. There is much more about Geoff on his website: www.geoffbond.com.

There is a lot of information about nutrition and proper diet on the market and I find it all very confusing and contradictory. Natural Eating, it seems, is the culmination of Geoff Bond's entire life's work studying how peoples all over the world eat and stay healthy.

When I put into practice just one of the suggestions, I lost 5 pounds. Weight loss was not my aim, but I suppose the body just starts letting go of excess when it is getting fed properly. When I put into place 5 or 6 principles, I lost another 5 pounds, and started waking up earlier naturally. I no longer craved food, I had a breakthrough in my hypoglycemia and I felt as though I was working with the rhythms of my body instead of always fighting against.

I think most importantly, the author gives you the history/foundation/science of his findings based on years of travel all over the world, studying primitive and modern cultures in thriving and ailing countries. In a nutshell, he studies the way the human being is built (shape of teeth, hands, digestive system) and derives what eating patterns fit us as a species. It's fascinating to consider that we are built to eat fruit partly because our hands are built to pick a piece from the tree, our teeth are shaped to cut through a carrot and so forth. The information is sound and useful. The recipe suggestions are excellent. The lists of foods are organized and easy to put into your kitchen immediately.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It has altered the way I fuel my body.

The work of Geoff Bond stands head and shoulders above any other work I have read on the subject of proper diet. The book is incredible well researched, and very well written. More than that it contains cutting edge information that can literally save one's life. Lose weight, gain energy, enjoy eating more, live a longer and healthier life. This one is a must read!

Since being diagnosed with Epilepsy 6 years ago I have devoted much of my spare time reading everything I can about health and our bodies in hopes of finding a cure for my disorder. As I would read these books, scientific abstracts, articles ranging from old folk remedies to the latest new age promises, a voice inside kept telling me to go back to the beginning. Back to the very basics of life. Before there were doctors and drug companies. Before there were fast food restaurants and big food companies. To rediscover what my body is and how it works. Look at myself as the animal as I am. And as that animal, what do I need to survive. But where do I start. The answer was to read Geoff Bond's book "Natural Eating". His book took me back to the very beginning. Within those 234 pages I learned about the evolution of our species in terms of our diet and our health. I learned that if we continue to eat the way we are doing soon we may find ourselves on the endangered species list. And for myself I learned Natural Eating also means Natural Healing. Thank you Mr. Bond.
