5.0 out of 5 stars Great value, I'm happy
Nicely made guitar for the price, and all the accessories. Good natural acoustics, and works well with amp and headphones. The strings are killing my fingers, so I will change them to a better quality. The case is lightweight. Wouldn't trust it on overhead storage. The tuner is a joke, but I've seen them sold for $5 in the stores. It will do for now.

3.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for
If you were expecting a really high quality guitar, remember what you paid. For the price, it is not a bad starter guitar. It only has 19 frets, and the dot inlays on front and sides of the board are hard to see. It plugs into my amp just fine (Fender Mustang II), and all the electronics on the side work. The strings it comes with are pretty cheap and hurt after a bit of...

The strings it comes with are pretty cheap and hurt after a bit of playing. It comes out of tune a bit more often they I like, but hey, it was only 30 bucks. In all honesty though, new players should probably look to get a better guitar, maybe a mid priced one, simple because this low quality of a guitar might put them off from playing. Sometimes it's not the player but the equipment. If you have someone who just wants to mess around with a guitar, than yes, this is the one for you.

I wanted to start learning guitar so I was on the market for a beginner instrument. I saw most of the reviews for this instrument were pretty much the same: good guitar, kind of crappy case, okay strings. I would agree 100% with these assertions! The guitar itself is obviously kind of rough around the edges, and in places the paint job is sort of questionable. The strings are not the greatest and the case is a VERY cheap nylon/plastic thing that will not at all protect the instrument from scratches or drops - in fact, it is VERY susceptible itself to scratches. However, for a beginner this is a great instrument at a fairly low price. If any travel/transportation of the guitar is anticipated I would highly recommend buying a hard shell case to keep it free of bumps or scratches, and a new set of strings is almost a requirement. For the price, though, this is a good option and should be kept in mind for beginners or individuals who want a cheap guitar to travel with.

this guitar is a small guitar and gets un tuned very quickly..... it starts to get annoying but if you buy a tuner you can do work on it all day...... i recommend this for new comers and for people who have a low budget..... i am getting a new guitar soon anyways but this was good enough until i get it

If you're a movie maker...or a pro wrestler, and you need a guitar to destroy for a scene..NOT over somebody's head...then you should get this guitar. It's perfect for that. I repeat, DO NOT SMASH IT OVER ANYBODYS HEAD. It's a little TOO solid for that, but if you'd like to bash it againt a tree, the bar or some other NON human object, then it makes a great splintering sound. If you want to take the pickup out first, you can. It does work.
