Yes, I feel empowered. I am always pleased with the good deals that I find on Amazon, especially books. I purchased this book months ago. Whalla! With the interesting information that I found in this book, with easy solutions, I was actually able to gain ground over the nasty little bugs that had taken over my backyard. This is a must have, companioned with or without Flint's, Pests of the Garden.

Oh, the writing was scientific, informative and all that, but I was very disappointed with the illustrations. There were some pictures of bugs, but many of the bugs were black and white drawings. I wanted a book that showed me these 'good' bugs at various stages. Instead I got a lot of pics of people and buildings. Boring. Thumbs down from me, but maybe I just chose the wrong book.

This book is a great tool if you are starting an organic garden. I helps you identify the good guys as well as the bad ones. I refer to the book all the time and it was a great purchase.
