I tried this product after reading about it on Natural News. Got it at first from a local health food's store but found it here at Amazon for half the price.

My problem has always been mad snacking desires. This has evened those desires out and I have been dieting and exercising and have lost 16 pounds in a month. I eat a "south beach" (I say south beach but really I don't follow that diet just close to it) diet and eat far less than I usually would. I eat when I'm hungry but I eat sensibly. I don't have the shakes over my "need" for junk food and haven't been once tempted by french fries even when sitting in front of friends who are eating them. I'd had starch and sugar detoxes before that I suffered through. (as did everyone else in my house...haha) This made it far easier. I really love this supplement. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a leveling of their "blood sugar". I say that in quotations because I still haven't tested my blood to know. But I can tell you as a person who has a BAD snack food habit and usually hates to do without them that this product has really given my already strong will a very huge boost. EDIT (Oct 1, 2009) - As of today I am over 40 down wearing the same size pants I wore before I had children. Now, I admit I also exercise at least 5 times a week. 20 minutes a day. But, I was doing that before I got PGX daily and trying so hard to diet and failing miserably. I'd lose a pound or two then have a crash and give up and eat junk food and back and forth and back and forth. This stuff has been a miracle for me. Just a touch over 40 pounds gone now and still moving. I LOVE IT!

Just started using it for my Diabetes 3 weeks ago and already I see lower numbers on my blood sugar and my A1C is now down to 5.9. I recommend this product.

I started this suppliment 1 week ago and I have lost 5lbs and my doctor was concerned about my blood sugars and they came down aswell. I will contunue to buy this product as it is the only thing helping with my weight loss

I am a 73 year old lady with 175 lbs. to lose. I have been taking a combination of these softgels plus the granules for over 2 months and so far have lost 20 lbs. I could not lose any weight without them as I panic when I get hungry and end up eating too much. But with them, I forget to be hungry and can control what I eat. I have pre-diabetes and hypothyroid disease and thought I would never be able to lose, but with these Slim Style PGX products, I am slowly but surely taking off the extra pounds. It takes a couple weeks to get used to the extra fiber but once you do, it works fine. I am keeping the calories under 1500 which I could not do without this product.

I have taken this product, along with Natural Factors CLA, nearly every day since October and gently lost 15 pounds around the middle. This was my objective, as I have an abdominal aneurism which is being observed. With family history of hypoglycemia and alcohol addiction, I am sure I have some blood sugar issues but have always been borderline. However, during this period, my energy level soared and general well being seemed higher than usual, so my blood sugar levels must have been affected.

Most importantly, I always take two of each supplement at least 20 minutes before any meal or snack with 8 ounces of water. I understand that the water is the key. I have lost almost to my goal, and will experiment with how often I must take them to maintain healthy weight down the road.

I don't believe in diet pills and I was skeptical about this product as well. I'd never thought I would have written a review on a diet product either. I'm not overweight but I was going through a stressful period and I was overeating. I was just looking for a natural appetite suppressant and I was reccomended this product at the local natural foods store, so I decided to give it a try. I just take 2 or 3 capsules with a large glass of water before lunch and dinner and I noticed that I eat about a third less than what I usually eat and I stay full for hours. I don't even need to snack in the afternoon like I used to. This product definetely works for me. I've just ordered the second bottle on Amazon.

I am not a diabetic and didn't take this product because of blood sugar issues. I took it because of the claim that it was an appetite suppressant. I take two before each meal and I've noticed a huge decrease in the amount of food I can eat and that I stay fuller, longer. This product may not work for some, but it certainly worked wonders for me.

I started taking this one month ago along with a whole food diet. My triglycerides went down by over 120 and my dangerously high cholesterol is already down to 240 (not perfect but a huge improvement). Not to mention the weight loss. I can't wait for next month's blood test to see what happens next. I've tried a whole/natural foods diet before but still wasn't able to get these kind of results. If you're struggling with insulin resistance or metabolic disorder, it's a miracle pill.

Much better than taking a pure fiber supplement. Wish it was a little less expensive so I could buy it on a regular basis.

I first saw this product on Dr. Oz and he said his wife took it. I really didn't know what it was so I did some research. I finally purchased a bottle , didn't do it to loose any weight though. I followed the directions on the bottle starting out taking one and gradually increased to two. It does surpress my appetite, didn't have those afternoon cravings for sweet. Now, I will say this, I felt alittle light-headed but I contributed that to have not eaten anything.

Bottomline: this product worked for me in surpressing my appetite. So I gave it 4 stars, if that is what you are looking for, don't know if it will do the same for others.
