Every person thinking of having a child within the next couple of years should read this book. So should every woman using any sort of contraception.

Francesca Naish outlines the pros and cons of the different forms of contraception, including their affects on pregnancy should conception occur, she looks at the female reproductive system and how it works, nutrition for preconception, and of course goes into great detail explaining the different forms of 'natural contraception' and how to use them separately or together for conscious conception or contraception.

In this modern age, we have lost the knowledge of our ancestors regarding conception and contraception. We no longer view them a sacred and we do nothing to prepare our bodies for these life-changing events, but our ancestors knew that we had to PREPARE BOTH PARENTS' bodies for pregnancy and that we had to recognize and learn the signs of our own fertility to manage it accurately and effectively. This book brings this information back into focus with sound, step-by-step advice regarding Preconception Health Care along with how to easily manage fertility in a natural, effective manner. I work with nutrition and fertility in my clinic in New York and this book is a MUST READ for all of the couples I work with.
