I followed the directions on this. letting it sit for 24hours. After pumping it up the next day with the accompanying hand pump (I'm a strong guy), it still is under 65cm. However, despite that, the height is pretty okay, while the firmness is solid.
Again, this is my new office chair. I'm 5'10 and it seems okay. Albeit a little disappointing that it didn't get as big as advertised. But that's the only disappointment. Color is great. Texture is great. And I'm helping the earth, because according the box I just helped plant a tree. ;-)

I use this ball as my office chair. I was thinking I would switch off between my regular chair and the ball, but once I got on the ball, I haven't switched back. Not even once. It's fun to sit on a ball rather than a boring old chair. Plus, with a ball, you can bounce! I also do sit ups on it by pulling myself under my desk a couple times a day. It's nice to have a tiny workout any time I want. If I'm bored with something or sleepy, I just do a few sit ups, or bounce and I'm alert again. I've found that the ball is also a great way to crack my lower back - which feels great.

Even though there is a professional version of this ball, the only difference I can see is that it didn't come with a measuring tape like the ones my coworkers got with their professional balls. I also really like the texture of the material much better than the rubbery stuff some balls are made of. This one is also healthier for me and the earth- and the company plants a tree!

I would most definitely recommend it and would buy it again myself.

No complaints. This ball is everything that I hoped it would be! Being 8 months pregnant, I find it to be the most comfortable seat in the house. I use it as a desk chair when at the computer, and take it to other parts of the house when a comfy seat is needed. I love it!

Very cool looking item! I was very excited to begin using this. My husband inflated it to recommended size then waited 24 hours - then inflated to desired size. I was in the process of refinishing my basement and put it aside until the room was finished - approximately 1 1/2 weeks. Went looking for this ball to use it - and couldn't find it, even though I knew where I left it. Befuddled, I kept looking and it had deflated - and so did I.... I used the old "soap and water" trick to see if it had a hole or something and sure enough it did. Funny thing is....I had never sat on it - nor had I used it - just inflated to proper size and left it on the counter in the craft room and then deflated. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the texture as it appears it has "natural slits" and after further review, one of the natural slits was deep enough to let air escape. I'm very upset and have yet to decide what to do. I bought the map and the mat in coordinating colors for the room. Don't get me wrong - it's a beautiful color, just don't know if I want to go thrugh the hassle of returning it or if I should find a different ball with different texture - after all it is supposed to be BURST-RESISTANT!!!!!

I am not yet satisfied that I will be able to blow up this ball to a 65 mm diameter. I have pumped it up 4 times now with the pump that was provided with the product. I am trying to find a heavy duty pump that will blow it up larger. If I can not, I will be returning it. M

I read the information for this balance ball and saw statements that it would be good for someone 5'8-6'1. I'm not sure I agree with that. I'm 5'10 and found that I sagged to close to the floor when trying to do back stretches or abdominal work. Despite that, I like the material and color of the ball and it is great for my teenager to use (she's 5'5). It also lacks that odd plasticy-tire smell that other balance balls I've had were permeated with. The material is soft and flexible with the slightly bumpy texture similar to kids play balls. The flexibility makes it very comfortable on my lower back or just to sit on. I also bought this because it is made out of a "safer" plastic than other fitness gear and their Zero-impact tree-planting endeavor. It is nice to make a purchase and feel good about the company it is coming from.

In conclusion: Other than the size, I would recommend this ball to anyone. If you are long of limb, you may want to go to the next size up. It may be in part due to the flexible nature of the material, but it is otherwise a well-made, attractive product that has taken several beatings by a bouncy 5-year-old (so, I totally believe it is burst-resistant!).

My coworker and I each ordered this exercise ball and today is the first day we can use them. We followed the directions and waited the 24 hours to completely blow it up. He was able to get his up to the full size, I had a hard time. I think I would have gotten it up to the right size if I had either been stronger and could pump the air pump faster or had an electronic pump. It's definitely the size advertised. As it is, I'm 5'5" so a less than full ball is perfect for me anyway. I can't attest to how it feels to actually sit on it for a while but the product itself is as advertised. I have a base coming as well since I thought I might need some help keeping it in place but so far that doesn't seem to be an issue. I'm excited to see how this goes!

This exercise ball is great quality. It seems very sturdy and I do believe it will live up to its name as being "burst-resistant". The material is very thick and seems like it should last a very long time. I have never blown up an exercise ball before and it was more difficult than I imagined. I felt as though there was no way this ball could blow up to be 65 cm; however, it definitely can get that big and it will not burst. I am using this ball currently as a birthing ball, but also plan to use it as an exercise ball after I deliver. Overall, great quality exercise ball, especially for the price.

This ball is fabulous. It's non toxic and phthalate free and wonderful for increasing balance and core strength. I love the unusual and pretty olive color. It comes with a dvd, air pump, and as part of the Zero Impact Program, a tree is planted with each purchase. It's a great value for what you get. I like to use it to aid stretches, sit ups and push ups--makes a world of difference.

Being the visual creature that I am, I really appreciate the unusual colors Natural Fitness offers in their products. If you love your gear, you will enjoy your activity more. And with these tools available, there is no reason to buy the standard, often toxic equipment.

Ordered this to work on core strength for lower back porblems. The accompanying DVD is not that useful - exercises are done too qickly to follow along, but good for demonstration purposes. I am 5'9" and this ball (65cm) is actually a little too big for me (although I ordered according to guidelines). It is a little difficult to fill to correct size b/c there is no included measuring band and the hand-pump is a little tedious. But I like the ball and ordered a book to accompany for exercise guidance
