I chose this ball out of all the many balls on Amazon, to replace my desk chair. This one had no reviews (at the time) but was the only one with non-toxic/phthalate-free material. The manufacturer also has a zero impact program - planting trees. It is for those reasons, primarily, that I give it 5 stars.

It does not stink, so the non-toxic/phthalate-free material must be a good thing.

It does need air added once or twice a week. Showing a coworker the hand pump that comes with it led to a conversation about shake weights, so apparently the designers have a sense of humor.

I like sitting on it all day. It engages my core and is a lot more fun then a chair.

I needed to get a stability ball because I recently started physical therapy in connection with surgery on my spine. I also have a baby in the house, so non-toxic was really important to me. This ball pretty much has no odor at all. It's a great surface and definitely inflates to the full 65cm if you follow the instructions--inflate to 80% size the first day, then wait 24 hours, then inflate to full size. I'm throughly pleased with my purchase, though, it's only been 2 days since I owned the ball. I'll update this review if I encounter anything negative. The air plug works fine, and I haven't had any difficulty inserting or removing it with my bare fingers.

Got this for my hubby who had one before. He prefers to sit on the ball than a regular chair as he needs to pay attention for a better balance with his core muscles. I like it as it does not smell or pick up the dust. Satisfied purchase.
