5.0 out of 5 stars Great Excercise Ball!
I love my new ball! I had previously purchased a cheap one and was very disappointed. This ball is so much better than the lower quality ones. It is very thick and the texture is soft feeling. It also doesn't collect hair and dirt like the other one did which is very nice when you have pets. I love that it is a natural material. When I wanted to buy one I didn't think I...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Excercise Ball!, October 12, 2008

I love my new ball! I had previously purchased a cheap one and was very disappointed. This ball is so much better than the lower quality ones. It is very thick and the texture is soft feeling. It also doesn't collect hair and dirt like the other one did which is very nice when you have pets. I love that it is a natural material. When I wanted to buy one I didn't think I would be able to meet that criteria, but this ball does! I couldn't get the ball to inflate using the hand pump that comes with it. I don't know if I was doing something wrong or what but I finally got out the foot pump from the cheap ball I bought and used that. It went much more quickly! I actually bought two of these (green for me and red for husband) and am very glad I did. The colors are great, too which is a big factor to me. I would definetly recommend the ball to anyone!

4.0 out of 5 stars Love this ball!, April 18, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am pregnant and started experiencing back pain at 4 months, so I bought this ball to increase my core strength. My back isn't perfect, but the pain has lessened. I sit on it while using my laptop, reading the paper, watching tv... I plan to use it as a birthing ball in labor too. It is perfect for my height [4'11"], but my husband [5'6"} steals it when I'm not around. He says it's comfy. I just wish I didn't have to add extra air once a week. The pump is awful, but does the job. The measuring tape that comes with it is [...]. According to it, I still need to increase its circumference by 6cm, and that's not happening. All in all, a good buy. I paid extra for this one because other reviewers said it didn't attract dust and pet hair. I have two cats who shed everywhere, and I haven't had to clean the ball yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect stability ball!, March 23, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love this thing!

It doesn't smell, doesn't pick up every tiny bit of dog hair and gunk on my floors, is environmentally friendly, blows up easily and comes with a subscription to fitness magazine! And for every one purchased, they plant a tree!

It's also good up to 600 pounds and feels nice and solid. I don't worry about bouncing all over the place on this thing, it's very sturdy and lightweight, too.

I've found I enjoy bouncing on this instead of sitting on my couch while watching TV and makes me feel like I'm being somewhat productive. ;)

4.0 out of 5 stars Works great as a chair, February 5, 2010

I use this fitness ball as a chair, I'm 5'5" and at its maximum size it works great. Note that fitness balls need to be inflated used for a bit then inflated again, and repeat. About the third time I find that they finally hit their maximum size and offer the firmest stability as a chair.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good size, sturdy, and doesnt get dirty, August 8, 2008
This review is from: Natural Fitness 600 lb. Professional Burst Resistant Exercise Ball (Sports)
This ball arrived and my 14 year old daughter who is generally weak and out of shape pumped it up with the hand pump that came with it in about 15 minutes while watching TV without much effort. It is very sturdy and I trust it to not break. I got the red ball because I am 5'8". The ball looks small to me, but it works perfectly. My old ball was annoying because it would collect dust and get sticky if you didn't wash it (yuck). But this one does not collect dust or get sticky.

I've had this ball for a few days now and use it at work to stretch and occasionally as a seat. At first I thought it would be impossible to inflate the ball to the specified 65 cm diameter, and indeed this was impossible with the included pump. Quite honestly, the pumps with these things are crap, but the ball itself seems to be of high quality. The box includes an adapter so you can use a bicycle pump, and this was MUCH easier than using the one that came with the ball. You may be surprised by how large the ball is when fully inflated, and it is extremely firm. I'm fairly light (for such a manly man) at 147 pounds, and the ball barely compresses under my weight. My expectation is that it will relax and soften a little bit with passing time. It is *relatively* odor free and doesn't seem to attract dirt.

3.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointed: Neither no-odor nor non-toxic., September 7, 2010

I searched the internet for the least toxic and lowest odor ball possible. I was excited to find this ball. However, the excitment was over when the ball arrived; it is neither no-odor nor non-toxic as the company promotes. Its odor does not make me feel as ill as ones made with phthalates, but I still felt a little ill. It has been offgassing for a week now. It is much better but still has a ways to go.

Some reviewers mentioned a problem with the color. I had the same problem. I was sent a dark gray ball even though the picture shows a blue ball. When I complained Amazon quickly tried to remedy the situation and sent me another ball. Unfortuanately, it was the same color. I checked on the Natural Fitness site and the grey ball is the color of their 75 cm pro ball. Amazon has the name right, but thier picture is incorrect. So if you don't want a gray ball, don't get this ball. I did notify Amazon and hopefully they will change their picture.

You may want to order a size larger than you need. I ordered this ball and have it inflated to 64 cm. At 75 cm it is very hard. I am 5' 5" and 64 cm is just right to use the ball as a chair (but I need a smaller one for exercise). My chiropractor says my legs should not be parallel to the floor while sitting. My butt should be higher than my knees. I am temporarily using another ball that has already offgassed for a chair and it really helps my back.

A reviewer mentioned there were no instructions. Instructions are included- they are just in an unexpected place. They are on the back of the fitness chart.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful baby soother that fits our decor.., September 6, 2008

I hate to say that I chose this exercise ball because it was an awesome color in the photo. And I gotta admit, in real life, it is an awesome color that goes well with our decor.

I am 5'5" with a long torso/short legs and, unfortunately, this ball is too large for me to do most of the seated exercises. Currently, we have it partially deflated and use it to soothe our cranky newborn who will passes out after we hold him all swaddled up and bounce on it.

As a former gym rat and physio therapy victim, the ball is great. Set up is easy, but it does take awhile for the plastic to soften enough that you can get it round and for the stink to go away. It does not have that cheap, slick GAIM feel that collects near vicinity dirt and hair. Its slightly textured surface has a better grip.

I do like it a lot and would love to buy the same one but in a smaller size, but, alas, they do not manufacture it in the same color. So sad!

I wanted to like this ball. I loved that it was made from recycled material, but I am not loving it. It feels greasy, and I can't get past it. It smells a little funny too. I'm overly sensitive to smells, and the two people I asked to smell it could not detect it. They both did feel the same greasy feel I did. I tried soap and water on a patch, and it didn't help. I've been disappointed, considering the great reviews. I expected something stellar.
