5.0 out of 5 stars Haystak brings a guaranteed classic every time around...
If you're like most rap fans, Haystak is the best rapper out today that you've never heard of. He blends street life and down south flavor in a hip hop format that makes Bubba Sparxx look like Ja Rule. The Natural was the first Haystak album I purchased and is great music for anyone. White Boy is an original track and one of my favorite songs (and I'm Mexican!!!). The Natural is a MUST HAVE.

If you're like most rap fans, Haystak is the best rapper out today that you've never heard of. He blends street life and down south flavor in a hip hop format that makes Bubba Sparxx look like Ja Rule. Haystak came from the ground up, and the only reason he sold 60,000 units independently to fans both black and white was because his lyrics are so real. You can really feel the subjects he's rhyming about. He does for the trailer parks what Nas does for the projects.

Haystak also has some of the most bumpin beats out there. This is definitely some country crunkness. On "The Natural" (his third studio release), he has all kinds of different styles, from the uptempo club tracks, to the dirty south gangsta tracks, to the emotional tracks. While other rappers (such as Eminem) may be more witty and intellectual with their lyrics, Haystak's music is a lot deeper and more down to earth. He also appeals more to folks who have lived the hard life. He represents the lower class, whereas Eminem (who may have roots in the ghetto), tends to appeal more to the suburban population.

Another thing about "The Natural" is that it sounds more polished than his previous CD's. Stak is one of those rare artists who actually keeps improving his skills with each album. Most rappers lose their flare after the first CD or two, but Haystak manages to mature with each album, and still stay true to the streets.

This album is a must have for any true rap fan...

3.0 out of 5 stars A Fitting Title, April 5, 2010
This review is from: Natural (Audio CD)
A Natural is what Haystak is to rap, he really was born to do this. And he shows this on the album. This album was very different from his first 2 with this being his 3rd. It was more commercial and distributed by Kotch and I think his most advertised to date and maybe even his most famous because of this. But I can tell u it's not his best by a long shot it is goood though. Some tracks u should check out is Bangin, Cool People, Different Kinda Lady which is about his mom and 1 of his ol lady's. Dirty Dirty is another good 1 and the lyrics is him at his best. And lastly Life With No Crime will get u thinkin and because it does this it proves he's a great artist he can paint a picture with lyrics and it's almost like watchin a movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars What Rap Should Be, October 19, 2008
This review is from: Natural (Audio CD)
This is what hip hop is. Hip hop is gonna die if the media has its way, thank god for all undeground music I hate the radio. This white boy is off the hook, you need to quit blowing white boys off like they can't rap. They attribute rap to a black culture which has impacted the white culture greatly 12% is what I beleive the black population is I think white people are 65% so math says after 25 years off hip hop rubbing off on white people you will have a white culture taking over rap there is a bigger number to pull talent from that has listened to it there whole life.Personally to me its not white or black its knowing whats it like to eat bologna sandwhiches for a month; its poverty black or white or whatever, Haystak says the bottom we are Bottom People not in a disrespectful way isf you can feel that buy the CD. If ya just wanna know what it is buy the CD. Anyone who calls there self a rapper should buy it cuase this is what it takes.CWB. Any Cd from Stak will do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Haystak - A Different Kinda Rapper!, June 12, 2005
By
This review is from: Natural (Audio CD)
Haystak is an incredible artist! Being a person that has been influenced by music throughout my lifetime, I enjoy nearly every genre from 50s to now, with primary interest in classic rock. My 24-year-old daughter heard one song from "The Natural," ("Different Kinda Lady") and it was the only song she listened to on the CD. I like the song, but try to listen to most tracks. I absolutely fell in love. I'm not a major rap fan, but Haystak is about so much more than mainstream rap. Both my daughter and I could identify with the lyrics, and when my five-year-old granddaughter and I take rides, we listen to Haystak. Granted, she is not allowed to listen to some of the songs, but sings to total strangers, "I'm Big Haystak, Mac Million." So far, I've worn out two copies of "The Natural," and have purchased many other titles as well. When a popular artist can affect three generations at the same time, this goes way beyond ordinary talent. Haystak's lyrics touches the heart while his music touches the soul. If you listen to rap, then it's just one more bonus. If you've considered listening to rap but do not like the same old same from mainstream artist, check out Haystak. This is as good as it gets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Move over EM!, November 30, 2003
This review is from: Natural (Audio CD)
Haystak Mak Million is one of the greatest rappers of all time. When I first heard the track "Down South Players" on the Car Fulla White Boys album, I immediatley purchased the cd. Every track on the cd was bangin, and The Natural is no exception. This cd features 18 tracks and all of them have clever lyrics and mastermind beats. If u havent purchased this cd yet then wat the hell r u waiting for???

5.0 out of 5 stars Stak's Gonna Blow Up Watch OUT, June 11, 2003
By
This review is from: Natural (Audio CD)
I bought this album yesterday and haven't stopped playing it since. Love the lyrics, love the beats. Just about every song has got a great hook to it. I like the arrangement of each song...you got upbeat songs then he tones it down then brings it back up. It's good to have an album without all hard or all soft, it's a good mix. You can't beat the beats on this album. They bring a great vibe to every song and each song has it's own feel to it. Gotta buy this album now if you dig southern rap. Forget about the white stereotype garbage this is just good ol down home hip hop. Also, he just signed a deal with Def Jam South a few months ago and is workin on a new album. So expect him to blow up by the end of this year!

5.0 out of 5 stars If You Don't Dig this You Definitely Ain't From Down Here, July 29, 2002
This review is from: Natural (Audio CD)
This is Haystak's 3rd CD entitled "Natural". Now I have been a fan of him ever since I was in Nashville in 2001 and saw him preform, and he definitely has some talent. I own all three of his Cd's including his latest. Track number 18 is my favorite entitled" Oh My God" featuring Bubba Sparxxx. Haystak is No eminem as somebody already stated, but don't be surprised one day if he ain't the nest White Rapper to explode.
