Product Description

Did you know? Plain old tea is wonderfully healthy! In this special report, you'll learn some amazing things about tea...

Over the past thirty years or so, numerous scientific research studies done in a variety of different parts of the world - with thousands of both human and animal subjects - are showing results which suggest that tea can:

* Help reduce obesity and body fat
* Reduce LDL, or "bad" cholesterol levels
* Improve the body's circulation and blood vessel health
* Improve bone density
* Fight and prevent a variety of cancers
* Boost the body's immune system and resistance to diseases, possibly even HIV
* Reduce the risk of heart attacks and other cardiovascular related diseases and health problems
* Relieve, reduce, or prevent inflammatory problems such as rheumatoid arthritis
* Prevent kidney stones
* Improve teeth strength and health
* Fight and prevent oral diseases
* Reduce stress hormone levels
* Increase the life span of people who have had a heart attack

When most people hear talk of the health benefits of tea, they're usually hearing about green tea. What many don't know however, is that regular black tea has many health properties of it's own too.

This booklet is broken into 15 sections:
# An Introduction to the Wonders of Tea
# Tea's Health Benefits
# Tea and Cancer
# Tea and Weight Loss
# Tea and The Immune System
# Tea and Your Heart
# Tea and Your Circulatory System/Blood Vessels
# Tea and Oral Health

3.0 out of 5 stars Tea drinker's club, July 3, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Natural Health Brief: Tea (Natural Health Briefs) (Kindle Edition)
I gave three stars for the quality of this ebook. (It reads more like a pamphlet.) It often repeats itself, and shows some poor sentence structures, especially in the Kidney Stone section.

The repetition becomes a little tiresome but I expect the author is aware the entire pamphlet may not be read by most people, but that only a quick referral to the most pertinent parts is all that is necessary. Therefore, with a quick glance through this short publication one finds overwhelming incentive to make tea drinking a daily habit as well as enjoyable part of living the good life.

Although citations to prove the many claims given in the variuos sections can not be found in this poorly documentated publication, the author does include several internet addresses for referral. The TOC works very well.

All and all, the benefits of drinking all types of teas (black, green, white and herbal) are exceptionally and ethusiastically endorsed.

3.0 out of 5 stars No mention of white tea., April 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Natural Health Brief: Tea (Natural Health Briefs) (Kindle Edition)
I am about 1/3 through the book and I have yet to read anything on white teas. Kind of disappointing considering white teas are the least processed and contain the most antioxidants of all the teas.
