The amount of helpful information that is contained in the Natural health Dictionary is stunning! Lately, I've been focusing on bringing natural health into my own life. I was initially quite discouraged by the sheer mass of information I found myself referencing and then cross-referencing--I didn't know what to believe! That is, until I was referred to Dr. Mao's NHD. This book is great; it provides trustworthy information from a natural health specialist on herbs and supplements, foods, and common health conditions. For each entry Dr. Mao talks about basic background information of the subject, treatment information, and for herbs and supplements he even provides remedies and practical lifestyle tips. I find myself learning how to live a robust and healthy life with each reference, not just how to treat the symptom of a larger issue. I highly recommend this book (which I conveniently carry around with me everywhere!) to anybody who wants to bring natural health into his or her life.
