4.0 out of 5 stars emotion expression, September 7, 2008
Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
These cards are so colorful. I wonder how they got the kids to pose for such bizzare emotions: ie.:dismayed,elated. Overall, a great investment, but caution, many emotions listed are well beyond the comprehension of an adult let alone a child with learning delays. It may be difficult to use several of the cards due to the complex titling of particuar emotions. Who knew there were so many levels of happy, angry and sad!.

5.0 out of 5 stars this is not really a toy, July 6, 2009
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
The understanding emotions flip book is not really a toy-but a very educational tool, for ether young children and/or children with developmental disorders, like PDD/NOS or Asperger syndrome who find it difficult to impossible to figure out what emotions go with a facial expression. this book has real pictures, almost all of children with many different emotions, then the emotion is printed on the back, with examples of why someone mite feel that way, but in simple easy to understand ways-I really like this book,I bought it because my child has PDD/NOS,once we even popped it off it's ring and set them pictures up and let him try and guess what they were feeling by looking at their faces-then we would flip and read to see if he got it right-it's a very good tool(book)very durable, I recommend it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pricey , March 31, 2009
By Cynthia (Fremont, CA) - See all my reviews
Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
It's expensive for what you are getting however, it does work. I just don't understand why does it cost $6-8 to ship and $13 for these flash cards from places that carries the product.
