Don't buy this product! I purchased this rack, mounted it on a wall in my kitchen, and put about 8 glasses on it. Within an hour, a wine glass worked its way off and shattered on the floor. That is when I noticed that many of the wooden pegs were warped, and some were angled slightly downward, allowing the glasses to gradually slide off the rack. After cleaning up the shattered glass, I added little pieces of foam tape to the end of the wooden pegs to prevent the glasses from sliding off the end. This kept the glasses from sliding off, but a couple hours later the whole rack pulled off the wall, shattering all 8 wine glasses and sending shards of glass everywhere. This could have seriously injured somebody if it had happened during a meal, since this rack was a couple of feet from the family dinner table. Fortunately there was nobody in the room when it came crashing down. The rack came off the wall because the mollys and screws provided with the rack are woefully undersized for the type of weight that the rack must bear. I contacted the manufacturer of the rack about the problem, but they did not reply at all.

We bought four of these stemware racks to handle the storage space problem in our apartment, and we're thrilled with them. They look beautiful and are an excellent addition to over our bar - we've gotten tons of compliments on how nice they look. Plus, very easy to install, and you can't beat the price. I definitely recommend them. (With some creative arrangements, we were able to get one rack to hold 12 white wine glasses, or 10 red wine glasses, or 14 champagne flutes, or 4 martini glasses plus 4 margarita glasses.)

This item was easily installed. Great price. Just right for a quick fix to store some extra glasses.

The wine glasses slide off. It was a waste of my money. Bad design as the rods need to be slanted upward so glasses don't slide off. No instructions!

I purchased one of these because it was the most practical thing I could find for my kitchen. When I was away for a few weeks, I came home to find one of my favorite glasses had fallen off and broken. I don't know if possibly I didn't tighten the pegs enough, but I swear that I did so I think they become loose over time. And since it is attached to the wall it is a pain to take it down and re-tighten them so I would prefer not to have to do this. Over all it is a decent idea for a product just not as reliable as I would have hoped.

I put this overhead in my kitchen above the doorway. it works well. 2 screws and its done. it holds about 2 glasses every other slot. so i had 10 or so glasses

This is a great way to store wine glasses. Having a large number of slots allows you to store glasses of different sizes efficiently. You can place it at any height on the wall. (I spaced it between a wine rack and a picture in a vertical arrangement -- after painting it an appropriate color.) It is well constructed and arrived in good shape.

I acquired 8 large wine glasses, 4 margarita glasses, and 4 heavy thick daiquiri-style glasses for Christmas this last year, and had absolutely nowhere to put them all. I bought this rack because it had the best reviews for the price, and I am very pleased. I can only hold 4 of the (very large) wine glasses, and 4 margarita glasses, but that definitely helps. I put it over my kitchen sink, and it looks great. If I had any more room in my tiny kitchen, I would purchase another rack, but I don't. It shipped relatively quickly, was cheap, and looks decent. I would definitely recommend this product to someone else with limited space and a growing wine glass collection.

I have had the opposite experience of the other reviewer! I purchased 2 of the racks about 2 years ago. I loved them so much, when I recently moved to a new home with more room, I purchased 2 more racks. All of them have held my glassware fine(none of my 4 racks have been warped). They are easy to mount and they hold quite a bit of weight. Of course, I would recommend using a level to make sure you are mounting it straight, and also ensure the wall you are mounting on is flat (and not warped). In both of my residences where those requirements have been met, my glassware has been held perfectly on the racks (2 years of holding glassware and no accidents!). Of course, I do try to avoid putting my glasses too close to the end of the pegs, just incase. They are easy to paint (mine are all black now), and I get compliments everytime someone comes over on how great my wall of glassware looks! If you have a lot of stemware that you are proud of (like me!) and would like to showcase it in a stylish manner (and for cheap!), I would recommended a few rows of these mounted on your wall!

As advertised, this stemware rack arrived 'naked' with no finish. This allowed us to pain it to match our wine room's colors.
