I tried this product after a friend insisted I do so. I have tried a number of food supplements over the years, and this is the only one I actually noticed any difference with. This is an excellent product, and while I started taking it for a specific reason, I've found I just feel better in general using it. If I don't use it for even a few days I can tell.
It's important to note that this is cold milled whole flax seed, which includes the hulls. Milling cold is a process that does not create heat, which destroys some of the effectiveness of the product.
As a side note: I am highly susceptible to colds and flu. For most of my life, I've had 5-6 colds/flu a year, with one to two of them being pretty serious (out of work for a week). This is year in, year out. To my amazement, after I started using this product for a few months, I stopped catching colds. I would feel one coming on, perhaps get achy and start sniffling - but it never progresses into a cold, it just ends there. After having colds my entire life, I have not had one in the two years I've been using this product. To say I'm amazed by this development is an understatement. I obviously don't know if it would work this way for anyone else, but I'm thrilled. The lignans in the hulls of flaxseed are reputed to aid in the prevention of colds.
I think that 99% of food supplement claims are BS, frankly. There is always some new thing that will cure-all.
This product is the only one I would recommend to anyone, in the hope that it would work for them as well as it has for me.
Note that I have purchased this product from both Costco (who has it periodically, and direct from the manufacturer "Flax USA" ) for 1/3 the cost listed here.

I just read in a nutrition magazine that one of the best things you can do to improve you health is introduce flax into your diet every day. I bought this exact product at a large wholesale membership chain (with the word cost in the name) and this was only 9.99! This has greatly improved my digestion--and it is delicious! I thought it would be hard to get down, but two scoops in orange juice is a treat! Great product.

I bought this product several times until I saw the exact same product (different manufacturer) at Costco for less than $10 -- exact same description!

I continued using the $32 jar, because the product I bought comes in a plastic bag. The last time I needed to fill my empty jar, I poured as much of the contents as I could into the jar. I had a lot left over -- 13.5 ounces. (I weighed it.) That's when I looked at the plastic bag and noticed that it held 40 ounces and guess what -- that's the same amount it says on this product's jar.

The scoop that comes with the product in the plastic bag holds the same amount as the scoop that comes with this product.

Based on using this product and the one from Costco, there is absolutely no difference between them. I'm just sorry I got RIPPED OFF several times -- paying $22 more than I should have paid. Heck, I can buy 3+ bags of what I am using for the price of this Rip- Off product.

I'm a new user of this product, although I have been drinking protein shakes at least 5 times a week for over a year now. I recently added this product to my frozen fruit based protein shakes, and can't believe how much better and thicker they now are - YUM YUM, they truly taste like a milk shake from Steak & Shake or Sonic, but without the sugar, guilt, or calories. And best of all IT'S GOOD FOR ME!!!!

I bought this product for a friend to get them started on the "fat flush" program. Has done wonders for me and wouldn't go day without it. Personally I buy the whole seed [golden only] and grind myself, an easy process. Golden flaxseed has a much milder taste than regular flax. wished to buy again for myself, but found it unavailable.

I added the flaxseed to my breakfast quick oatmeal. Easy and enrich the taste and texture. My kids love to add it to their yogurt.

I have been doing some researches and reading up on flax oil and its health benefits . All these information and my hydrotherapist have convinced me pretty quickly onto buying it and taking it every day. I just started taking it for two weeks and i have noticed more regular and comfortable bowel movements. Also, I heard that this stuff is really good for high blood pressure and other heart disease. It doesnt taste bad and i usually just put in in my oatmeal or cereal with milk in the morning. Just remember to not put it in boiling temperature (at least that is what i heard).

We have used this product for a few years. We used to buy it at COSTCO. but haven't been able to find it, so I went on line and found the same product. We are very satisfied. It mixes very well with our juice, or over cereal. I also use it in cookies.
