Very Highly Recommended, August 4, 2007

Pedro Luis Ferrer is a great Cuban musician and composer. He's an
underground hit in Cuba as he has been banned for decades by the Castro
government from performing publicly (for some perceived criticism of the government).
Nevertheless, everyone in Cuba knows his music and many of them know the songs'
lyrics by heart. His daughter (who is also on this album) is a phenomenal singer.
You can't go wrong with any CD that has his songs--although how he shares in any
of the revenue I have no idea. Best of luck to him and his family--and to Cuba.
