Drivel.. don't buy this based on reviews, browse it in a bookstore before you buy!,
This review is from: Natural Philosophy: Written to Evolve the Human Consciousness (Paperback)
I seriously recommend that any prospective purchaser just simply browse this book before deciding to buy. The poor English and extremely simplistic themes will be readily apparent. Maybe some other reviewers want you to drop your $20 on the book based simply on their good reviews, but I'm not making a cent by recommending that you browse before buying, right? I can't speak for those other reviewers who gave this book 5 stars. Nuff said.
A collection of crappy poems. It sounds like it could be an interesting read, but in reality Ben Harris has the writing talent of a 4 year old. Full of typos, improper use of the English language, and cliches. This book is a disgrace because it's not even up to the standard of high school english. I don't recommend that anyone buy this trash, and Amazon shouldn't even be carrying it. Oh well.

I don't normally write reviews of bad books, I can't say that I see the point because in most cases I can imagine that there are persons out there who might like a particular book, just not me... However I will make an exception in this case, having read the synopsis, I purchased this book. At this point I can't imagine even recouping part of my investment by selling to my normal used book reseller, since someone else downstream of myself might purchase this and I would experience the same negative karma as stealing from them. I truly think that this is perhaps the worst book I have ever seen in print...
I have to admit that I did not read this entire book; I would rather gouge out my eyes with a grapefruit spoon! But rather than turning this review into a rant, I will simply say please try to view a copy of this book before purchasing it. The author gives us a series of totally incomprehensible poems, though I use this term with reservation. The only distinction that makes them poems is that the word processor was set to "center text". Then once you reach the end of a page of centered text there is a page or two of commentary explaining this poem. Generally the title (Bold text, Centered) of each poem/chapter can hint at what the author is trying to get at, usually with the skill and subtly of a 4th grade English student. But if you missed it, the last few words will be in italics to reiterate the title's point. The shocking/amazing thing is that the prose commentary on each poem is more incomprehensible than the word salad poem it is explaining. If one of my freshman English students had given me this text I would show them how to turn on the spell and grammar checker and than suggest a career in painting! Finally I notice two very strong positive reviews or this book that mostly focus on attacking reviewers that pan this book, strangely these same two reviewers only appear playing the same role with regard to Ben Harris's other book. I would potentially think that these reviews were written by Ben Harris in pseudonym, but they are more comprehensible flames and more grammatically correct than anything in this book!

I was very moved...,
By Gregory Marshland "Editor" (New York, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Natural Philosophy: Written to Evolve the Human Consciousness (Paperback)
This is a very poetic and beautiful book. It has many different poems that are followed by a suggestion or a "philosophy" about how the poetry came to be, and what the deep thoughts and impressions are that go behind it. I was touched in almost a "spiritual" way reading this. It has an elegant, yet sort of devilish way about it that I think you'll appreciate. By no means though, this is a book that someone could live their life by. It is more or less a creative work of art, than anything to take too seriously. It is a nice, touching read...

Reading Guy needs to get a life....,

Very pathetic you loser... Just the title of this book is more brilliant than you in every possible way. You are just a retard that spends all your life on the internet. Anyway, look beyond what this sick yahoo is telling you. They are obviously demented and sick in the head. Natural Philosophy is a beautiful book, and it's something we need more of in this world. And people like this nut are what we need less of. Go scoop your cat's droppings you loser.
