I felt this book needs a little update in material. I read the Tuft's University and other Vet material I can pick up and most of the herbs I use on pets are not even mentioned in this book. Sorry, it did not impress me.

I really like this book. It gives you a different perspective on small animal care. Very good and it offers all different kinds of cures - homeopathy, flower essences, acupuncture, acupressure. Great.

I had expectations about this book that simply didn't measure up. I was expecting a book that would break out typical dog/cat issues and provide tested remedies/suggestions for such things as hives, fleas, wounds, etc. What I got instead was long-winded tables with flower essences and breakdowns according to my dog's emotional status. Completely unhelpful at midnight on a Friday when my pup is flying around the house being chased by the itchy demons. May be useful to others.
