I needed a portable battery powered alarm clock that has an illuminated dial. Chosing this clock was a big mistake. It's time can only be illuminated by pressing one of several confusing un-labeled buttons TWICE, so you can't just see the time in a dark room. The alarm mechanism has mal-functioned on several occasions, usually at the worst time. The "nature sounds" are actually cheap sounding and annoying. The badly translated directions are worthless. This is the perfect gift for someone you detest.

This product is disappointment. It is not an alarm clock that wakes you with light. It is a cheap alarm clock with lights. It is only battery powered and has no power cord. Packing and instructions are mostly in Chinese. I am sending it back to get a clock that I trust to work to wake me up.

This is the worst alarm clock EVER! First of all the nature sounds are five second blips that play over and over again. Their not even decent sounding. Then when you messing with the settings the clock keeps flashing different colors when you hit a button. If you have epilepsy BEWARE! I am recycling it maybe then it could do some good. Poor thing never had a chance.
