Almost a full hour of music, but only 4 tracks providing soothing continuous music. Water & bird background sounds. I have more comments on this cd from my clients than any other album in my rack. I play it over & over! It can't be beat!

Buy this CD if you want to pamper yourself. It takes care of the inner you. Wash all your worries away. Not for use while operating heavy machinery.

It is so great that I want to give this album 10 stars! The waves and stream sounds are real and near as if you are there. The album takes you miles away to a relaxing cove, a cool stream, a raining grassland and the warm bushes with a blue sky. It really do takes away your stress every day. I HIGHLY recommend this. If you are stressed(especially for when you are work too hard or when you think the world is bad), this album will renew you and takes your soul to a paradise, and you'll soon released all your tense inside your body. Or if you are a Solitudes fans, this is turely the the one that you must get.

A few years ago, I lost my husband and young daughter in a car accident. My son survived. Add that to the every day stresses of life and you have a lot to deal with. I never have believed in drugs and am mostly a spiritual person. I was looking for something to help me relax and let go of things at the end of the day.I found this CD to be so soothing,and comforting.. a nice change from the radio as backround where a song can trigger you into a rough moment. You can literally feel the tensions leaving your body. This is the best money I have ever spent and the wellness it promotes in me is priceless.

I have been listening to this CD for five years. I often play it as background music during my hypnosis sessions. In fact, I have played it so much that I had to buy a second one when the first one wore out. Amazingingly, I have never tired of listening to it over and over again.

I agree with all the other reviews. This is a very soothing collection of 15 minute destressing delight. Besides my own personal use, I use this CD during "rest-time" for my preschool students to provide an hour of mellow peace during their busy day.

I am a yoga instructor and use this music during my yoga classes. It is absolutely the most soothing and relaxing of all the Cd's I use in my classes. I love the water and nature sounds.

I bought this cd to have on hand to help me relax during the labor and homebirth of my son. Every night for the last couple of weeks of my pregnancy I would play this cd when I would go to sleep at night. After listening to the cd every single night, I'm pretty sure my body equated hearing this music to sleep-- almost like self hypnosis. When I went into labor and the arrival of my son neared, my mom started filling up my birthing tub with water, lit all my candles, and out of all the cds I had set out for the birth my mom chose this one (not knowing that it was the one I had been listening to every night for weeks). When I emerged from the bathroom in full blown transitional labor, ready to get into my birthing tub, I was pleasantly surprised that this cd was playing. I got into the warm tub and immediately my entire body completely relaxed. I think my body was conditioned to hearing this music and entering a complete state of relaxation. My labor pains went from about a 9 on a scale of 10 to about a 3! I didn't even have to focus on breathing through the contractions. I remember telling myself that I could stay like that for another 12 hours-- as long as I got to stay in the water and listen to my music. It was heavenly. My midwife arrived 10 minutes later and when she checked me I was shocked (and so was she) to learn that I was already 10cm!!! My water broke on it's own a few minutes later and after two pushes my son was born into the water. The cd was still playing and the mood couldn't have been any better. The first words out of my mouth was "Wow, that was easy!" The music was perfect for the occasion-- water sounds mixed in with classical music, and hearing the cd today (4 1/2 years later) still brings tears to my eyes and all the emotions from my son's birth come flooding back. I'm so glad to see that Amazon sells this cd since my original copy got scratched and started skipping. Since having my son I've gone on to become a birth doula and I'm happy to be adding this cd to my birth collection. Highly recommended and I can't wait to play this cd again during my next homebirth!

Silence is golden. The next best thing is this CD if you live where you cannot hear the ocean's waves beat against the shore, rainfall in a rainforest, gurgling brooks, mountain streams, or the sound of songbirds. The wildlife species featured on the last track (Sienna Sky) are the "chorus frog, western meadowlark, lincoln's sparrow, yellow throat".

The background music is designed with rhythms to slow down the heart rate to about 60 beats per minute. It is blended with natural sounds from water and wildlife. The overall effect is very relaxing. I have used it with yoga. It would probably work just as well with Yang style Tai Chi. Program time is 59 minutes: 56 seconds.

If you need background relaxing music while at work this is great! I wish it was longer.
