I feel this cream helps balance my hormones better, and has attributed to my being able to cut way back on Premerin. I think I am less stressed out.I feel it can be of value to menopausal women...

This product has done much to alleviate problems in menopausal and perimenopausal women over the years. However, it did me quite a bit of damage. I first started taking it for uterine fibroids, and it did help with that problem. However, this product is fat soluble, and builds up in the body over time. In my case, I am extremely sensitive to cortisol, which is a steroid manufactured by the presence of progesterone. The build-up of this steroid in my blood caused gastroparesis (paralysis of the large muscle in the stomach), insulin resistance, hypothyroidism, and vitiligo, which is a whitening of the skin in patches. A saliva test confirmed the build-up of progesterone in my system, and I stopped using the cream. As a result, everything is back to normal except my thyroid which will probably always require supplementation. To avoid a repeat of my cautionary tale, make sure you test yourself at three month intervals with a saliva test for hormone levels that you can do at home, mail off to a lab, and have the results sent back to you, without the need for an expensive office visit. Careful monitoring will give you the maximum benefit without the possible horrific side effects.

As an aside, under "Product Features" there is a Bible verse quoted. I am somewhat offended by a Bible verse being used to advertise such a product.

I used the cream for a month with no results. I have not slept in 9 months and the scale keeps moving up by itself! I was sadly disapointed.
I was very intriged by Dr. John Lee's work. Maybe I am more estrogen dominant and it will take longer to work. I will continue to use it longer if only for its anti cancer effects.

I was introduced to this product 16 years ago, when I first started to go thru menopause & I went thru without the use of any other medications (especially not prescription drugs). At that time, I was hot-flashing all of the time (especially embarrasing at work!), and not getting any sleep. A clerk at a health food store told me about this product, and I have been using it since. Put some on the insides of your wrists, insides of elbows, backs of knees, and expecially on your abdomen. Obviously, I am post-menopausal now, but I continue to use it as a face cream. I am 68 years old, and have very few lines or wrinkles in my face, which I attribute to the cream. Don't use it every day - the directions tell you to discontinue use for 3-7 days per month. It may not work for every woman, so if this particular product does not work for you, try other brands before giving up completely.

If you are entering menapause and having trouble sleeping all night, this is one of the products you need to pick up. You apply only a small amount to the areas in rotation as listed in the flyer and it helps in all sorts of ways. Dr. Lee wrote a book about menapause listing the benefits he found in clinicals working with women and this product. If you are getting off HRT therapy as I was, it also helped to add Heat Flash put out by the same company.

You know i read the hype about this product where one woman says that its effectiveness is based on how much you believe it is going to work. Well im here to tell you this stuff works. I used it after taking a shower and putting on some tight jeans to go to work. Not tight as in the streach jeans but the regular jeans. And when i got home my tummy had went down completly. I was floored. I still use it on other areas and I didnt get all nasty with the guys at work like i usually do. I am going to buy some for my mom. This is Great stuff.
