About the Author

Born and raised in Milwaukee, educated at the Universities of Wisconsin and Arizona, Ken Lange has conducted field work for the Smithsonian in Madagascar and the United States. He found his home at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin, where he pursued his journey for thirty years.

Lange won't be an unknown writer once people start reading this. He is as good as Rick Bass, Hoagland or Pyle.More lyrical than Abbey but just as tight. You won't find a better buy or fail to enjoy it. Highly recommended.
