These shoes are completely great. I have nothing but good things to say about them -- the construction, the quality, easy to walk in -- EXCEPT the left shoe hits me in the wrong place on the side of my little toe.I REALLY hate sending things back so I am very careful about anything I buy on-line. Had I tried them on in the store, I would have tried a larger shoe or passed them by. I thought if I wet the leather down and wore them around the house wet, they might stretch out a little. I did that, and thought I stretched the heck out of them. Well, it worked for about a day, until they dried. (This is the impressive part)... after they dried, they went back to exactly the same size and still looked brand new! The finish or color had not changed a bit. This is good news for anyone who wears them every day, but not such good news for me -- still too tight in the left shoe. Still, you can dress them up or down. |
