note: it's synthetic upper, NOT leather! and made in brazil. made for big calves, the only boots so far that I can fit jeans in, yet with stockings it actually stick out, a bit too big.

After reading the numerous great reviews online, I purchased this boot and am so happy that I did! Contrary to what other reviewers said, the faux leather still looks very nice and is well-made. I've gotten many compliments. The boot is comfortable and fits perfectly. Note: I have size 17 1/2 calves, and these fit perfectly, if yours measure any larger I would be careful.

These boots were definitely made for those with EXTRA LARGE calves. I ordered a half size smaller hoping that the calves would fit better since another review had mentioned the large calves. They are still too big with jeans tucked in. The tag that was attached actually says it is specially made for large calves. Unfortunately, the Amazon site did not specify that the Plus in the boot title stands for PLUS size legs.

These boots were a good value on sale. They do not breath. So, they are very warm, in a "there is no air getting to my legs" way. They are cute and comfortable (except being plastic). If I was comfortable spending more I am sure there are much better boots out there, but these are a nice mid option. I do have large calves and they fit my calves fine. They are okay boots.
