I bought this book back in May for my mother and me for mother's day. I loved the book the minute I started reading it. I have used only a small amount of the recipes but can definitely notice a difference in my face. I will never buy store bought lotions or facial scrubs anymore. I make all my own body care products from what God gave us. I cannot imagine ever living without this book. I think my body thanks me and I know my wallet does. People have asked me about my skin and what I have been doing different. I tell them, "I am Naturally Beautiful that is all!"

I recommend that you purchase a copy and stop giving your money away to companies that don't care about you but only care about you money. It is such a joy just to make these recipes as well as using them in my daily routine.

I first heard about this book from Dr. Weil's website. My fiance then organized an entire spa day based on recipes from this book. It was the best spa ever and I felt so good about myself afterwards. It has taught both of us alot about essential oils and the benefits of natural products such as honey and yogurt. Why pay $400 for spa day when you can have it exactly the way you like it at home? Learn the secrets of spa recipes from this book. It covers body wraps, facials, shampoo conditioner, baths, moisturizer, there's even a cellulite reducing recipe! I highly recommend it.

I found this book to be absolutely exquisite in design, fascinating in content, and gorgeous to look at. Gallagher has combined her extensive knowledge of multicultural beauty secrets along with luscious photographs from around the globe, to create a delectable display of all-natural beautifying recipes. Not only does she provide an intriguing history to each techique, she complements the sections by including a variety of delightful quotes that inspire the mind and nourish the soul. This is far from your typical beauty book. I highly recommend it to any woman looking for a unique way to give herself a bit of physical, as well as spiritual pampering.

This is just the book I needed to read as I look forward to turning 45 at the end of this month-a book that reminds me that one can be beautiful at any age. The pictures are gorgeous and the homespun recipes are fun and interesting, but what I liked best about the book was the liberal sprinkling of interesting quotes on beauty, as well as the author's personal views reflected throughout the text. Two of my favorites: "Beauty is not in the face; it is a light in the heart;" a quote by Kahlil Gibran, and "There is beauty in intelligence and power, and in the maturity from which they are derived;" by Gallagher herself. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs to be calmed, pampered, coddled, and caressed--especially if you have to do these things for yourself!!

I was skeptical, but curious. I thought that I could give it to my nature loving sister if I didn't like it. I liked it so well that I intend to buy copies for my mom and my three sisters. The recipes include ingredients that will require a trip to the health food store, but don't let that discourage you. That is part of the fun! There are many recipes that can be made from ingredients on hand as well. The book is more thorough than I expected. I liked the recipes for massage oils and the natural hair coloring recipes. There are so many recipes, and the presentation of the book is done so beautifully, you can't help but love this book.

This book is, in a word, amazing. Ms. Gallagher has simplified the natural beauty regime while, at the same time, exhibited a genuine concern for our bruised ecosystem. Recipes, meditations and the author's own invaluable insights from a successful career in the modeling field combine to make this book an absolute must-have for one's personal library.(Not to mention, the perfect gift....). This is the perfect tome to accompany a "beauty night" with your friends or an evening of solitude where all one needs is the perfect facial mask, bath oils and meditative inspirations. Buy it for yourself and everyone else you care for-it is the ideal prescription for solace and renewal...

I honestly would like to say that Dawn Gallagher's book is the most beautiful book that I have ever seen. Not only is she a very sincere and special person, but her love for nature and of inner beauty is truly inspiring. I would recommend this book to anyone, and I have personally ordered 5 copies for my freinds and family.

I am an avid beauty student and have learned a lot of neat recipes from this book. Although I've only had it for three days, I cannot wait to go back home to go through the recipes. Ingredients and recommendations are well explained and are clearly targetted to your skin type. The only down point is it doesn't contain an index (or at least my copy didn't have one) which makes it hard to find the recipes of ingredients you have. One point of caution... don't try all recipes at once. My face was over pampered due to my excitement. Enjoy, it's a great book to have in anyone's collection!

I loved this book. Introduced me to using essential oils and natural beauty products for my skin. The recipes are easy to work up and are so "natural" one can eat them. And, they work too!

A book fit to anyone who cares about the way to feeling and looking beautiful and not just about results. The perfect choice for anyone interested in natural skincare.
