Directions
This box makes one 9 inch double-layer cake or 24 cupcakes. Things You'll Need: 1 1/4 cup milk (or soymilk), 1/2 cup of oil, 2 eggs (or 2 TB applesauce). Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour bottom & sides of baking pan(s) or place paper liners in cupcake tray. Mix cake mix, oil and eggs for 2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer or whisk by hand. Bake 25-30 minutes for two 9 inch round cake pans, 35-40 minutes for one 13x9 inch cake pan or 20-25 minutes for 24 cupcakes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Completely cool before frosting.

My family is allergic to GMO corn, so we cannot eat most mixes. This one had no corn starch. I read the bad review, but I thought, "Well a sweet bread isn't so bad."
I've no idea how that person made this mix, but when I made it, it came out light and fluffy and absolutely 100% cake like. I use butter when I bake as my oil. I used a silicone spatula to mix it for about a minute- until it was thoroughly mixed and beaten. I greased (with butter) and lightly floured a pan (whole wheat flour), and I used a 4.5 liter pan made of corningwear for baking, which I think is 13 by 9 inch. I used whole unhomogenized milk, and the 2 eggs- amounts exactly as specified on the package.
I would definitely buy this again. It's totally delicious cake, and we can actually eat it- which makes it even better.

I bought this product with extreme excitement. I couldnt believe that there was a natural cake mix, as I prefer natural products. I quickly picked this up and made it for a baby shower. YUCK! First off, it was not a cake-like texture. It was thick and was more like a sweet bread, very hearty. Some older people liked it...but majority did not. I thought it may be user error...NOPE. Some may like this, but if you are looking for a similar replacement of the Betty Crocker or Pillsbury mixes, this is not it. It will not be the same, atleast this cookie cookie one is not when you follow the instructions on the box.

I had this mixed and in the oven in like 5 minutes. Tried it on it's own and was not bad at all. With ice cream it was great. Have not made it into a cake with all the icing but imagine it will be fine.

My Favorite!
