This book is not at all what I thought it would be. I should not have let the five star rating sway me. I did not see the word organic used once. Ingredients used in the recipes include aspirin, mineral oil, soy powder, soy milk, unflavored gelatin,and Miracle Whip. The author even recommends mineral oil as a "natural" moisturizer and uses a microwave to heat ingredients. I have several skin care books and have never seen any of these ingredients in them. I am so surprised that anyone would use these types of ingredients and methods in this day and age. I believe The Holistic Beauty Book is a much better choice.

I love "Naturally Skinsational". It's a fabulous book filled with tons of quick and easy to make natural skin care recipes. I especially like that there is an extensive glossary that explains the anti-aging properties of all the ingredients used in the recipes and what aging skin symptoms they target. If you're a fan of using all-natural organic ingredients, then this book is the perfect choice! The FoxNews25 Morning Show featured the book along with the author making a facial mask and a homemade honey nut scrub. You can see the video on the [...] website. I highly recommend this book!

Naturally Skinsational: Rejuvenating Skin Care Recipes This short, sweet and simple skin care book - is simply refreshing! I loved the fact that I didn't have to spend lots of $$$, and found the ingredients right in my very own kitchen... I can't wait to try more of the recipes, especially the ones with ingredients that hit my taste buds!!
