4.0 out of 5 stars Jump start your voice recognition experience with Jim's book, January 4, 1999

This review is from: NaturallySpeaking Professional (Spiral-bound)
I found Jim Bendewald's book "NaturallySpeaking Professional" to be a great addition to the Dragon documentation. He gets you off on the right foot by carefully stepping you through the critical system setup (so important for high recognition). Jim shoots straight giving many practical "how to" tips, what works, what doesn't. He reviews sound cards, notebook computers, and microphones that really work. One of the real benefits of the Professional version is the ability to create voice macros, yet the Dragon documentation does not even mention them. Jim's discussion on macros (including many great examples) saved me endless hours of trial and error.
