Very good documenary,

I was looking for the "Life in Death Valley" Nature episode to purchase but couldn't find it - until I discovered it came with another documentary "Andes the Dragon's Back" in one DVD (this one). Thank goodness! - 2 for the price of one (and a good price at that!!). I was extremely happy. When I first saw "Life in Death Valley" I was raptured by it - it was SO good (not every Nature episode is to my taste). But, everything works with this one - lots of information, scenes (covers the park very well), marathon runners, deaths, music (especially good), history, narrator, etc., etc. I'm sure the "Andes" episode is good too, but I really wanted the "Death Valley" one. I've never been to Death Valley, or even cared about it, until I saw this.

This is an Excellent video. There is no way we could ever get to see these locations except through this type of filming. Seeing the wildlife and its ability to survive and even thrive in these extreme climates leaves you awestruck. Our earth is an incredible place especially the wild places we haven't filled up yet.
