These looked so cute and held promise for our four year old's first clock. They even remind us of very similar clocks we had as elementary school kids. But the clock disappointed as soon as it left the box. The bells are not installed symmetrically (not at same angles to the clock itself); the clock face and hands are not visible in the dark; and worst of all, the animal noise that plays as the alarm has no volume control! Were this priced at $8 or $9, we might have kept it, because it *is* cute. But it is lacking in features and of such marginal construction quality that it's been shipped to the seller for a refund.

The sound is great and the gift was a big hit. Makes waking up a little more fun these days.

I got this clock for my little 7-year-old brother this past Christmas and he loves it! He uses it everyday to wake up in the morning and he loves the croaking. The clock is vibrantly colored and looks absolutely adorable on his dresser next to his bed! Definitely recommend.

I purchased this alarm clock since I love frogs and thought this was pretty cute. This is an animal take on an old fashion alarm clock-there's not lighting on it so you shouldn't think that. It does it's purpose as it will wake you. You can't lower the volume, but why would you need to have that if you're going to purchase this with the intent to wake you up? The only setback about this clock I've had is that if you knock it over you risk not having the alarm work anymore-this happened to mine and not it won't make the rib-bits anymore. It's used in my office as a regular clock cause it still works. If you're looking for a simple alarm clock with a cute face get it-just don't expect more than being visually appealing and making a loud sound.
