I read a review of this CD in a magazine and thought I'd check it out. I put it in my CD player and was instantly blown away. Great vocals and melodies. The melodies take a few spins before they're recognizable which makes for repeat listens. There isn't a bad song on this CD. There isn't anything on here that you probably haven't heard before, but The Funeral Pyre sound like they're attacking these songs and not going through the motions.

If you like your death metal brutal with a slight touch of melody, this is the CD for you!
