Nature Made's Acidophilus is recommended for gastrointestinal health. The health of the intestinal environment can play a significant role nutrient absorption and a healthy immune system. It can also affect cholesterol metabolism and aging. L. Acidophilus is one of the healthy bacteria that colonize in the gut, maintaining a healthy intestinal tract by making it slightly more acidic. Acidophilus supplementation not only promotes a proper intestinal environment, but can support GI health in times of distress.

Directions
Take two tablets daily with a meal or as recommended by your health care provider. Keep bottle tightly closed and store in a cool, dry place.

When you order this product "Pack of 3" it comes in 3 different bottles. Each is filled to about 1/3 full. I was able to fill one bottle with the tablets from the three bottles.
