I prefer this brand of iron supplements. They do not flush out of your system quickly, and they are affordable. Since I have used these in conjunction with my multi-vitamin my hair has grown faster, white marks on my fingernails have disappeared, I don't freeze all of the time, and I'm not as exhausted during my workouts. I recommend that any woman that is of a child-bearing age take these. Blood tests showed that the iron level in my blood was good, and all of these above listed symptoms persisted. No doctor ever recommended that I take an iron pill. Taking this supplement has benefitted me more than any vitamin or supplement I've ever taken.

My doctor said I was anemic and I was taking Fergon. I had a Nature Made coupon and used it at Target. Since taking this, I no longer chew on things that I did before (pica) due to anemia. Also, my libido is through the roof. Sure, my husband is happy but I can only attribute this very noticeable change due to the iron tablets. I thought my periods would be heavier or different...but they were the same.

I'm very happy with this iron supplement, which I've been taking for about two years. My doctor recommended it because my iron level was always too low to donate blood; since taking the pills my iron has been at acceptable levels everytime. The pills are small and easy to swallow and the Amazon price is lower than my local drug store.

I found these at Walmart for $4.93 for 250 pills. Ever since I started using them a few days ago, I'm not as tired and more alert! I love these things!!!

I was excited when Walgreens started carrying the 65 mg tablets of Iron, and even more so when I found an even better price on Amazon. The price for the amount and quality is fantastic.

Being anemic, I need more than the regular 25 mg dosage in common Iron supplements, and I was sick of taking up to 3 of those tablets a day. These tablets are only slightly larger than the 25 mg tablets, and they pack a whole lot more punch.

Overall, a great product at a great price!

Still have not found ANY supplement that has minimum ingredients.
This, however, has no blue/yellow/red dyes....just titanium something color...what ever that is.

Have been buying this in the drug store for a lot more money. Great price for the quantity.

Nature Made makes a great iron pill that comes in sturdy plastic bottles of 200 so that you can get the iron you may lack in your diet. As Amazon notes above, "iron has a central role in transporting oxygen in the body. It is an important part of hemoglobin in red blood cells and myoglobin within cells, to transport oxygen in the body. Iron helps prevent iron-deficiency anemia, which is the most common deficiency in the United States and the most common cause of anemia in the U.S., especially among children and women during their childbearing years (Mahan & Stump, 1996)."

I like that this brand of iron includes no artificial flavors, preservatives, chemical solvents, yeast, starch or gluten.

One of these a day should help you get rid of anemia or any other medical condition that could require you to use this product. Use these pills by the expiration date printed on the label of the bottle.

If you have any questions, consult a doctor BEFORE taking these pills. These pills can interact--in a bad way--with certain prescription drugs, so please be careful! Your doctor may have you take something else instead of iron or they may want you to take these pills in conjunction with something else. Read the entire label before taking these pills; and keep these iron pills out of the reach of children, please!

Overall, if you do need iron supplements, this brand is one of the best out there. I have used it as needed with great satisfaction. I highly recommend the Nature Made brand of iron for those of us who need iron supplements. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding how to take these iron supplements.

after reading 3 hours of iron. it has answered all the problems i have. (its not many) first thing i want to mention is that i also read that most high school / teens have a deficiency in iron, just wanted to get that out of the way.

now the reasons why i purchased it : 1. better sleep 2. less stress 3. less fatigue. oh and btw for some reason the "Iron" inside these cereal boxes don't work. but when i take this (which are usp certified, and usp has be approved by top notch universities like harvard who says usp supplements are the ones to trust -i'm sure you didn't know that since i did the reading for you)

overall i have been feeling a lot better.

This is the only Iron pill that I found with a high enough mg count. Before this was stuck taking 5x as many of another brands iron pill.
