4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not vegan, May 7, 2007
This is a very complete multi-vitamin (except it leaves out iron), but the description provided on this site ignores saying that it contains ingredients from fish.

The full ingredient list is as follows:

Calcium Carbonate, Cellulose Gel, Magnesium Oxide, Asorbic Acid, Niacinamide Ascorbate, dl-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, Corn Starch, Zinc Oxide, Acacia, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Manganese Sulfate, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin (Fish from one or more of the following: Cod, Cusk, Haddock, Hake, Flounder, Pollock, Redfish, Sole), Cupric Suflate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Silicon Dioxide, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Beta Carotene, Polyethylene Glycol, Chromium Chloride, Vitamin A Acetate, Folic Acid, Potassium Iodide, Sodium Molybdate, Sodium Selenate, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), Phylloquinone, Biotin, Cyanocobalamin.

This review is from: Nature Made Multi For Him Vitamin and Mineral, 90 Tablets (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
I received my vitamins and was worried about what the last reviewer said about the size of the vitamins being an issue. They must have changed the size of them from two years ago (when the reviewer made the comment) because they are about the same size, or a little smaller, than the "One A Day" vitamins. I would say don't let the size of the vitamins keep you from getting these, they are worth the price!

Also, if you look at the symbol/label that says USP (I believe) this is an added benefit for getting these vitamins. My wife is a registered dietitian and she has said that the company that the USP represents is an independant company the tests vitamins/supplements to make sure they are actually giving you what they say they are. Comapnies that produce supplements do not need to have any quality control checks, so the fact that Nature Made sought out this company to test their vitamins and have received their approval is proof that they make their vitamins with quality in mind.

Get these vitamins if you have been looking for a high quality vitamin within a reasonable price!

Once upon a time I took some multivitamins that were small and easy to swallow. I am not sure whether such things are available any more, and what might be left out. But these pills are the big kind, and so a challenge

to swallow sometimes.
