Jane Austen-type portraint of middle class Indian society,
By A Customer
This review is from: Nature of Passion (Board book)
I read this novel some years ago on the beaches of Goa. It is a fascinating account of an ordinary middle-class Indian family. We come to know their foibles and idiosyncracies through the Jane Austen style of writing -- witty dialogue and careful observations. The effect as you read is that you will find yourself smirking and chuckling to the humour.
