This book is an excellent resource for anyone interested or majoring in soil science. It provides the basis for soil morphology and introduces some soil chemistry concepts. It is recommended without reservation.

It's a good book for someone who has just started exploring Soil Science for it goes through all the aspects of soil from structure and hudraulics to fertility and pollution.

We use Brady for teaching Intro to Soil Science - It is an excellent resource and one that I tell students they will be able to refer to with a soils question whatever their field of study.
