This review is from: The Nature of Statistical Evidence (Lecture Notes in Statistics) (Paperback)
This brief but well-edited book presents the problem of what statistical evidence is, from the point of view of various areas of statistics, but at the same time maintaining consistency of ideas.
I especially liked the early chapters, in which very clearly explains the nature of mathematics and its limitations in explaining the natural world. It is highly recommended for graduate students in science. |
