5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful!, January 19, 2004
This review is from: Nature Walks in New Jersey, 2nd: AMC Guide to the Best Trails from the Highlands to Cape May (Paperback)
The most wonderful little book. It is easy to read, use, and follow with simple maps of the trails, as well as a locator map to find a trail within the state. Very well organized. The description of the trails include a little bit of history as well. I considered myself knowledgeable about the great outdoors in my area, until I got this book. It has opened my eyes to many beautiful marshlands, hikes, and waterfalls of New Jersey that I never knew about. I plan on doing all 40 walks/hikes (there is a nice mix of easy to challenging) by the end of the year. Everyone who lives in New Jersey should see these sites!

This review is from: Nature Walks in New Jersey, 2nd: AMC Guide to the Best Trails from the Highlands to Cape May (Paperback)
The descriptions, stories, directions are good and interesting. However, I live in South Jersey and hoped there would be more places that I didn't have to drive so far to get to.
