Swedish Bitters Liquid 33.8 oz.

I have had fibromyalgia for 27 years. Pain started March 1982 it quickly spread up my shoulder down my right back & across to the left side. I was in so much pain everyday. I went to different doctors including bone & joint drs. They could not find anything wrong so I went 15 YEARS hurting with no help at all. Finally I went to my MD Doctor & he diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. I was given medication & it did help with the pain but it made me a zombie. I could not function. We decreased it but I soon went from 10mg to over 200 mg. Trying to hold a job was had to get going & function in the mornings. It also was recommended that I go to the pain center. At the pain center I would get lots of trigger point injections plus other medications. I tried massages,other natural remedies. Finally December 2005 I threw everything out & quit going for shots. If I was going to hurt I wasn't going to keep putting drugs in my system that was going to cause other problems down the road. A friend of mine also had fibromyalgia she was getting trigger point injections constantly in her stomach. She then was diagnosed & died from stomach cancer. That scared me. I don't know if it was a related but it was close enough for me to say no more drugs. So over the last 4 years I have been blessed with a fiance that will massage & work on my knots in my back & it has helped tremendously. We also use tiger balm & chinese ointments to rub on & it helped for a very temporary relief. NOW we were told about Nature Works Swedish Bitters & I started taking 0n December 16th 09. on Dec 23rd (1 Week later) my pain was completely gone. It was the strangest thing I have ever experienced. To hurt all those years. I was 23 when I was hit with the fibromyalgia & I am now 50. That is a long time to hurt every minute of every day. I never imagined I would be without the pain until the day I died. I have prayed & prayed & I acknowledged to God I knew things happen in his time. As crazy as it sounds I am trying to get use to not hurting. Taking a shower & no pain is strange. Just sitting on the couch & watching a movie with no pain it is a whole different world for me. I take 1 tsp twice a day. The taste soon goes away especially when it helps so much. My fiance's acid reflux is gone. I ordered a bottle for my son because unfortunately he inherited my fibromyalgia in the same places I had it. He has started on it & we are waiting to see if it helps his pain, but he has already said his acid reflux is gone.
Every night when he laid down acid reflux set in but it is gone. I am so thankful for the product it has been a life saver to me. My family & friends can not believe when I tell them that my pain is gone. That is pretty much all they have know for me. This is a miracle in my life.

I don't get enough bitter foods in my diet. My digestion sometimes slows down as a result. I take Sweedish Bitters at those times and they naturally help my digestive system to function better. I love them and keep them at work and at home.

Whenever I feel a cold coming on I take some Swedish Bitters 2 or 3 times that day and it knocks out any germs in my system and I feel fine by the next day! It even works for my dogs when they get a cold or start coughing I give them a 1/4 or 1/2 cc, they are only 6lb dogs but they get better within a day or two as well.

This stuff is amazing. I have had asthma since I was 3 years old, and started getting acid reflux symptoms when I was about 15 or so (I'm 30 now). I got fed up with taking both advair and whatever heartburn med I was on at the time (most recently, prevacid). The meds worked, but I was worried about long term side effects, so I bought the book "why stomach acid is good for you" by Jonathan Wright. He suggests increasing your stomach acid to reduce heartburn symptoms (counter intuative, I know, but brilliant) and argues why turning off your acid production is a bad solution. Anyway, one of the first recommendations he makes on how to treat yourself is bitters. They don't taste great, but it's doable. I mix about a teaspoon or so in a couple tablespoons of water and sip slowly, really making sure to taste it (that's the whole point - this is the signal to your stomach). I've quit prevacid cold turkey before and after a few days had a lot of heartburn pain/burping/hiccups and waking up in the middle of the night. This time, I quit cold turkey, but also added bitters into the mix. The heartburn totally went away. I even went to france right after and ate lots of cheese and drank coffee, along with all sorts of other bad habits. The other good news is that I am off my asthma meds too, and symptom free! I think bitters is a huge part of my success in quitting medication. I dont have to take bitters all the time anymore, maybe once every couple days if I feel a relapse coming on(mostly from drinking too much coffee!) It ends up being cheaper, and in my opinion, healthier, than the pharmaceutical option.

Swedish Bitters was recommended at a reliable health products store for "promoting regularity." The package says 1-2 tsp per day so I started with 1/2 tsp and it was too effective! Be careful with dosage and start slowly. The results are quick, like within an hour or two. I'd like to find more literature about long term use but google didn't turn up anything substantive.

I have been using Swedish Bitters for about five years. If I run out, I can tell the difference. For me, Swedish bitters improve energy, digestion and overall well-being.

I have used Swedish Bitters for digestive tract problems and it was a real cure for diverticulitis. I did not have to have medical treatment. It is good for the whole digestive tract.

I love Swedish Bitters and have used it for years. If I remember to take at least 1 tsp. a day I do not get sick! If I forget for a few days I will often come down with an illness. It is a great preventative and also good if I feel I am coming down with something and take it right away.
I take about 1 tsp and add water to it and chug it down like a shot. The taste is not very pleasant, but the benefits of this product are well worth it.
If you can't tolerate the taste, try putting a drop or two of a high quality, food grade essential oil in it, like a mint or citrus flavor. I put a couple drops of grapefruit essential oil in it and it is fine.
Also, using room temperature water can help keep the taste at bay. Cold water livens up the camphor.
This is a great product and always on my shelf! I won't be without it.

Great product! Can be used externally on any wounds or cuts and it heals very fast. I also used it on scars and it improves a little but I have to use it more to see the results. It works best with calendula cream as an ointment.

When this arrived I couldn't remember what I had ordered that was so big.
When I opened it, it was like digging for gold.
When I found it, I understood.

This is a large glass bottle that was thoroughly protected.
This product is a great digestive product that refrains from the frills of some modern bitters and just delivers the good.
A little goes a long a way especially first thing in the morning.
