I have numbered prints of two of the photographs that he used for the book. They are framed together as "Chambered Nautilus - Cross section" signed and numbered in pencil on the mat, dated April, 1993. I am inspired each time that I pass it. It hangs on a wall in my ocean-front home on Emerald Isle, NC. Conklin had visited the area around that time to receive an award for his art.

great pics of sea shells. could do without the poems on each page(used as a filler)and should have added more pics.he def. has a talent.
